Abhilashi University pledged to create a drug-free environment; students and teachers took a united oath.With the aim of promoting a drug-free environment and establishing a healthy academic atmosphere at Abhilashi University Chail Chowk, Mandi, the entire academic community unitedly took a pledge to remain drug-free.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. HK Chaudhary, deans of all departments, faculty, and all students of the institute expressed their firm resolve against drug abuse.The oath-taking ceremony was organized in the university auditorium. In which members of the entire institute actively participated.
On this occasion, Chancellor of Abhilashi University Dr. RK Abhilashi and Pro Chancellor Dr. LK Abhilashi called upon all the university members to play an active role in the drug de-addiction campaign. Make your colleagues aware; take a pledge to save your family and society from this evil. Cooperate in keeping the university campus completely drug-free and become an inspiration for others.On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor, in his address, stressed the need to spread awareness about the ill effects of drug addiction on the mental and physical health of the youth. In his address, he said, “Drugs are a serious threat to the health and future of our youth. Through this oath, we are not only taking a pledge to stay away from drugs ourselves but will also make our peers aware of it and encourage them to stay away from drugs.” On this occasion, various deans and senior professors also highlighted the importance of a drug-free environment. He said that the goal of de-addiction can be achieved only through collective efforts, awareness, and sensitivity towards mental health.
In the oath-taking ceremony, Dean of Student Welfare Dr. Devendra Sharma administered the oath to everyone that they will stay away from drugs themselves, will inspire others to avoid drugs, and will spread awareness in society about the dangers of drugs. Various awareness programs, workshops, and counseling sessions are being organized regularly by Abhilashi University under the drug de-addiction campaign so that students will get guidance to live a mentally and physically healthy life. At the end of the program, all the members present together took a pledge that along with the university, they will make every possible effort to create a drug-free environment in the society as well and will strengthen a safe and healthy educational environment.On this occasion, Chancellor of Abhilashi University Dr. R.K. Abhilashi, Pro Chancellor Dr. L.K. Abhilashi, Vice Chancellor Professor H.K. Chaudhary, Registrar Dr. Kapil Kapoor, Chairperson of Genius Education Society Dr. Narbada Abhilashi, Vice Chairperson of Abhilashi Education Society Dr. Promila Abhilashi, and Secretary Narendra Kumar were present.
