– In the election environment, a promise was made to provide employment to 5 thousand people in Shimla rural.
– Employment was not found in ten months but jobs were taken away from 70 people
Shimla. Minister of Public Works Department and MLA of Shimla Rural Assembly Constituency Vikramaditya Singh has forgotten his promise. During the election campaign, he had assured to provide 5 thousand jobs in Shimla rural area.
The tenure of the Congress government has been more than 10 months, but not a single unemployed youth has been provided employment by the minister in the area. In such a situation, there is a lot of anger among the unemployed youth towards Minister Vikramaditya Singh. This anger is justified because instead of providing jobs, the Congress government has taken away jobs.
Let us tell you that 70 youth from Shimla rural area were serving in the Jal Shakti Department. These youth, who were doing jobs through outsourcer, were fired from the department in the month of March. Of course, their contract may have been completed, but after that no efforts were made by the government in terms of relief for those youth. Well, the unemployed people of the area had high expectations from Vikramaditya, which now seem to be fading.
BJP Shimla Rural has termed it as a betrayal of the unemployed. Ravi Mehta, who was a candidate from Shimla Rural, says that in order to gain power, Vikramaditya Singh had made false promises to the youth and women, which came to light during his tenure of ten months. The minister should fulfill the promise of providing 5 thousand jobs to the youth of his assembly constituency in time, otherwise the BJP group will take to the streets regarding this.
Mandal President Yashpal Thakur said that while seeking votes, Vikramaditya Singh had clearly written in the election manifesto that we will provide employment to 5 thousand youth of rural Shimla in different private sectors. Despite this, not a single youth has been given employment yet, which is unfortunate. It is too much to condemn.
On the other hand, Bhup Ram Verma, Under Secretary (Retired) of Public Service Commission and Vice President of Rural BJP, who belongs to Dhrogada Panchayat, says that Vikramaditya Singh has cheated the unemployed youth of Shimla rural. Congress has worked not to provide employment but to snatch employment. The rural people will never forgive him for this.
In this regard, Zilla Parishad member Dhami Ward Prabha Verma said that we have raised the issue several times with MLA Vikramaditya Singh to provide employment to the youth of rural Shimla. Life has been completely disrupted due to the disaster in the state. Work is underway to bring it back on track in the coming time. We hope that the promises made by the MLA will be fulfilled.
