Shimla, August 5
The Himachal Pradesh Government on Wednesday ordered the transfer and posting of IPS officer Abishek S. (HP:2019) as the new Superintendent of Police (SP), Kullu, with immediate effect in the public interest.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department, Abishek S., who was serving as Superintendent of Police (Law & Order), Police Headquarters, Shimla, and was also holding the additional charge of SP, Cyber Crime (CID), has been posted as SP, Kullu.
The government has directed Madan Lal-II, HPPS (2006), the outgoing SP, Kullu, to report immediately to the Police Headquarters, Shimla. His next posting will be notified separately.
The notification was issued by Chief Secretary Kamlesh Kumar Pant, IAS, on the recommendations of the Civil Services Board.
