Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) will organise blood donation camps across all its hotel units on July 27, 2026, as part of a statewide initiative aimed at promoting voluntary blood donation and saving lives.
HPTDC Managing Director Rajiv Kumar said blood donation is one of the noblest social causes and every unit of donated blood can help save patients undergoing surgeries, trauma care, cancer treatment and other medical emergencies. He said the corporation has directed all its hotel complexes to coordinate with nearby health institutions for the successful organisation of the camps.
Rajiv Kumar added that HPTDC has consistently supported social welfare initiatives, including tree plantation drives, and the blood donation campaign reflects the corporation’s commitment to serving society beyond tourism. He urged employees, local residents and eligible volunteers to participate in the drive and make the initiative a success.
