    Children evacuated from Manipur call on CM at New Delhi

    Students who were stranded at Manipur reached Delhi on Monday late evening and called on Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at Himachal Sadan, New Delhi and thanked him for the noble gesture.

    It was due to personal intervention of Chief Minister that the Himachali children who were pursuing higher studies at Manipur were evacuated through a special flight Monday morning from Imphal to Kolkata and thereafter to Delhi.

    The Chief Minister had borne the entire travelling expenses from his pocket to bring the children back from strife torn State.

    Earlier, Education Minister Rohit Thakur and Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh received the students yesterday late evening at Himachal Bhawan.

    Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur called on Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat at New Delhi today.

    Chief Minister apprised him about the speedy efforts being made by the state government for Greenfield Airport at Mandi. He requested for channelisation of Suketi Khad in the area on priority basis which would help in hastening the progress of the DPR of the airport.

    Chief Minister also apprised him about the progress of Jal Jeevan Mission in the state.

    The Union Minister directed the officers of the Ministry to immediately take action. He assured of all possible assistance to the state.

    Resident Commissioner Meera Mohanty and senior officers of RC office and Ministry were present in the meeting.

    उन्होंने कहा की भाजपा आने वाले नगर निगम शिमला के चुनावों में अच्छा प्रदर्शन करेगी, भाजपा ने नगर निगम शिमला में अच्छा काम किया है।

    उन्होंने कहा की भाजपा एक कार्यकर्ता आधारित राजनीतिक दल है जिसके आधार पर हम नगर निगम शिमला में अच्छे प्रदर्शन का दावा करते है।
