    CM dedicates 71.39 crore development projects at Dharampur in Mandi district

    Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh today laid the foundation stones and inaugurated 13 projects worth Rs 71.39 crore at Dharampur in Mandi district.

    He inaugurated a bridge built at a cost of Rs 2.92 crore on Awahdevi-Tehra road, Rs 2.21 crore  bridge on Anaswaai-Chaswal road, Rs 66.85 lakh bridge on Hukkal-Chattar road, Rs 2.98 crore bridge on Sherpur-Sari via Khaber road, Rs 1.98 crore bridge built on Sajau-Chatrayana road, Rs 74.65 lakh Type-2 staff quarters of Public Works Department, government residence of Assistant Engineer in Mandap built at a cost of Rs 30.90 lakh and a Public Facilitation Center built at a cost of Rs. 88 lakh in Dharampur. The Public Facilitation Center would be utilized to manufacture bamboo based items and provide training to artisans.

    Sh. Sukhu also laid the foundation stone of a Rs. 50.55 crore irrigation project that would provide irrigation facility on 775 hectares of agricultural land in Chauntara, Gopalpur and Dharampur blocks of district Mandi under HP Shiva Project. He also laid the foundation stones of Rs 4.42 crore Circle office building of Public Works Department at Dharampur, Rs 55 lakh Health Sub Center at Rangad and Cocoon Marketing and Storage Center under the Center of Excellence (Sericulture) to be built at a cost of Rs 3.20 crore in Sidhpur.

    Later the Chief Minister visited and inspected the ongoing construction work of Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya at Marhi in Dharampur area.

    कांग्रेस कमेटी के उपाध्यक्ष नरेश चौहान ने कहा है कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने एक बार फिर हिमाचल को निराश किया है। नरेंद्र मोदी ने शनिवार को मंडी में आयोजित युवा विजय संकल्प रैली को संबोधित किया। नरेश चौहान ने शिमला में एक प्रैस कांफ्रेस में कहा कर्ज में डूबे हिमाचल के लिए कोई बड़ी आर्थिक सहायता करने की उम्मीद लोग प्रधानमंत्री से कर रहे थे, लेकिन हर बार की तरह प्रधानमंत्री ने केवल हिमाचल को अपना दूसरा घर बताकर यहां से गहरा नाता होने की बात कर लोगों को निराश किया।

     

    नरेश चौहान ने जयराम सरकार पर भी हमला बोला और कहा कि यह सरकार हिमाचल के 70 लाख लोगों के लिए केंद्र की मोदी सरकार से कुछ भी नहीं मांग पा रही। उन्होंने कहा कि जयराम सरकार इस तरह के आयोजन कर कर्ज में डूबे सरकारी खजाने पर करोडों का बोझ डाल रही है। सरकार को कर्ज पर व्हाइट पेपर लाकर प्रदेश की जनता को बताना चाहिए कि कर्ज के पैसे को कहां-कहां पर खर्च किया गया।

     

     

     

    आठ साल पहले की घोषणाएं भी जमीन पर नहीं उतरी

     

    नरेश चौहान ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री ने आठ साल पहले हिमाचल में अपने दौरे के दौरान कई बड़े वादे किए थे लेकिन वे जमीनी स्तर पर नहीं उतरे। नरेद्र मोदी ने केंद्र में भाजपा सरकार बनने पर सेब पर इंपोर्ट डयूटी 100 फीसदी करने के साथ ही एप्पल कंस्ट्रेट को कोल्ड ड्रिंक्स में मिलाने का वादा किया था। मगर आज तक कुछ भी नहीं किया। आज विदेशों से सस्ता सेब देश में पहुंच रहा है, जिससे हिमाचल के सेब मार्केट में गिर रहा है। रही सही कसर नरेंद्र मोदी के दोस्त अदानी कर रहे हैं। हिमाचल में सेब के दाम गिराने में अडानी का हाथ होने के बारे में बागवान पूरी तरह से वाकिफ है।

     

     

     

    69 एनएच की डीपीआर तक नहीं बनाई

     

    नरेश चौहान ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार ने हिमाचल के लिए 69 एऩएच देने की घोषणाएं कीं। एनएच बनाने का काम तो दूर इनकी डीपीआर भी नहीं बनाई गई। नरेंद्र मोदी हिमाचल की पुरानी योजनाओं का ही जिक्र करते दिखे।

     

     

     

    बेरोजगारी और मंहगाई की बात तक नही की

     

    नरेश चौहान ने कहा कि बेरोजगारी और मंहगाई आज देश के साथ हिमाचल की सबसे बड़ी समस्या बन गई है। मगर प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने संबोधन में इसका कोई जिक्र नहीं किया। हिमाचल में बेरजोगारी दर देश में सबसे अधिक है। 2014 में नरेंद्र मोदी ने भाजपा सरकार बनने पर हर साल 2 करोड़ युवाओं को रोजगार देने का वादा किया था। इस तरह 16 करोड़ युवाओं को रोजगार मिलना चाहिए था, लेकिन उल्टे आज देश में बेरोजगारी दर अब तक का रिकार्ड तोड़ चुकी है। मंहगाई आसमान छू रही है। बेहतर होता कि प्रधानमंत्री मंहगाई और बेरोजगारी कंट्रोल करने के लिए कदम उठाने की बात करते। मगर ऐसा नहीं हुआ।

     

    उन्होंने कांग्रेस पार्टी की ओर से सरकार से मांग कि वह रोजगार पर एक व्हाइट पेपर लाकर बताए कि बीते पांच सालों में कितना रोजगार, किन किन क्षेत्रो में दिया।

     

     

     

    अग्निपथ योजना से सबसे ज्यादा हिमाचल का युवा प्रभावित

     

    नरेश चौहान ने कहा है कि सेना में हिमाचल के युवाओं की हिस्सेदार सबसे अधिक है। लेकिन मोदी सरकार ने चार साल की सेवाओँ वाली अग्निपथ योजना लाकर यहां के युवाओं के भविष्य को अंधकार में धकेल दिया।

     

     

     

    जयराम सरकार केंद्र की मोदी सरकार से हिमाचल की मांगें नहीं रख पा रही

     

    एक सवाल के जवाब में नरेश चौहान ने कहा है कि यह दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि जयराम सरकार हिमाचल की जनता की मांगों को केंद्र की सरकार के सामने नहीं उठा पा रही। उन्होंने सवाल किया कि अगर कुछ दिया ही नहीं तो जयराम सरकार आभार किस बात का जता रही है।

    अमतृकाल में भारत के विकास को गति देने के लिए आधार हिमाचल में मौजूद है। वर्ल्ड फार्मेसी के रूप में हिमाचल की पहचान तब और मजबूत होगी जब हिमाचल एक वैश्विक फार्मा हब बनेगा। यह बात प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने मंडी में आयोजित युवा विजय संकल्प रैली को वर्चुअली संबोधित करते हुए कही। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा, ‘दवाओं के रॉ मटिरियल में आत्मनिर्भरता के लिए तीन राज्यों को चुना गया है जिसमें से एक हिमाचल प्रदेश है। यहां बल्क ड्रग पार्क बनाया जा रहा है। इसी तरह से चार राज्यों में मेडिकल डिवाइस पार्क बनाए जा रहा हैं, उसमें भी हिमाचल शामिल है। हिमाचल के युवा स्टार्टअप इंडिया, आत्मनिर्भर भारत फंड का उपयोग कर रहे हैं। आईआईटी मंडी भी युवा स्टार्टअप को मजबूत कर रही है’।


    दरअसल खराब मौसम के चलते प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी मंडी नहीं पहुंच सके। इसलिए उन्होंने रैली को वर्चुअली संबोधित किया। बारिश के बीच भी युवा पड्ड मैदान में जुटे रहे। बारिश से बचने के लिए कुछ युवकों ने कुर्सियों का सहारा लिया। वर्चुअल माध्यम से संबोधित कर रहे प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि हिमाचल का प्यार, हिमाचल के आशीर्वाद, हिमाचल के प्रति मेरा लगाव उसके बीच में तो मौसम और मुसीबतें भी नहीं आ सकती हैं, इस बार मैं नहीं आया पाया लेकिन जल्द ही आपके बीच आऊंगा। मौसम खराब होने की वजह से मंडी नहीं पहुंच पाने पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कार्यकर्ताओं से माफी भी मांगी। पीएम नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा, ‘क्षमाप्रार्थी हूं कि मौसम खराब होने के कारण आपके बीच नहीं आ सका हिमाचल आने की बात होती है तो मैं उत्साहित हो उठता हूं, लेकिन इस बार आपसे रूबरू होने की कसक मन में रह गई है’।

    प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने रैली को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि इतनी बारिश के बाद भी यहां इतने युवा आए हैं, यह मेरे लिए स्नेह और गर्व की बात है। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि युवा शक्ति ने हमेशा अलग-अलग मोर्चों पर देश को गौरवान्वित होने का अवसर दिया है। प्रधानमंत्री ने पहाड़ी बाबा कांशीराम का भी जिक्र किया। उन्होंने कहा कि हिमाचल के जाबांजो ने आजादी के बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर पर हुए हमले से लेकर करगिल युद्ध तक मां भारती का सिर ऊंचा रखा है। देश की रक्षा के साथ-साथ देश को सम्मान दिलाने में भी हिमाचल के युवा कमाल करते रहे हैं।

    *‘कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में शामिल हिमाचली खिलाड़ियों का जिक्र’*

    प्रधानमंत्री ने कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में शामिल हिमाचल के खिलाड़ियों का भी जिक्र किया। उन्होंने कहा कि हिमाचल की बेटी रेणुका ठाकुर ने क्रिकेट में, वरूण कुमार ने हॉकी में और विकास ठाकुर ने वेटलिफ्टिंग में शानदार प्रदर्शन किया है। खेल का मैदान हो या कला जगत, पार्टी हो या सरकार हिमाचल के युवाओं की ऊर्जा उनका जोश, उनका नेतृत्व कौशल देश के काम आ रहा है। युवाओं को ज्यादा से ज्यादा अवसर देना भाजपा की प्राथमिकता रही है। भाजपा में युवाओं का प्रतिनिधित्व सबसे अधिक है, ऐसा इसलिए क्योंकि हमारी पार्टी देश के युवाओं पर भरोसा करती है।

    *‘दुनिया आज भारत पर भरोसा करती है, पहले ऐसा नहीं था’*

    प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि अब देश की युवा शक्ति मिलकर आजादी के अमृत काल में भारत को विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने का संकल्प पूरा करेगी। आज मंडी में आयोजित हो रहा ये कार्यक्रम उसी युवा शक्ति का प्रतीक है। आज दुनिया में भारत की साख जैसे-जैसे बढ़ रही है वैसे-वैसे भारत से जुड़ने के लिए पूरी दुनिया लालायित हो रही है। इसके हिंदुस्तान के जागरूक नागरिक, जागरूक मतदाता को इसका पूरा श्रेय जाता है। भारत में बहुत दशकों तक अस्थिर सरकारें रही। दुनिया में भारत पर विश्वास करने के लिए सोचना पड़ जाता था, लेकिन 2014-2019 में जागरूक मतदाताओं ने दिल्ली में मजबूत स्थिर सरकार दी। उसका परिणाम है कि दिल्ली में स्थिर सरकार है और इसी वजह से नीतियों में भी स्थिरता आई। बदलाव के लिए एक मजबूत नींव तैयार हुई। आज लोग भी सरकार पर भरोसा करते हैं, वैसे ही दुनिया भी हम पर भरोसा करने लगी है।

    *‘हिमाचल में फिर बनेगी स्थिर सरकार’*

    पीएम ने कहा कि स्थिर सरकार के लाभ को देखते हुए अब राज्यों में भी लोग इस महत्व को समझ रहे हैं। उत्तर प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड में हर पांच में सरकार बदलती थी, लेकिन यहां लोगों ने सोच को ही बदल दिया और सरकार स्थिर करने के लिए अपना निर्णय दोहराया। पांच साल बाद सरकार बदलने वाली सोच को यूपी और उत्तराखंड के लोगों ने उखाड़ कर फेंक दिया। इस बार हिमाचल के युवा भी भाजपा की सरकार की वापसी का मन बना चुके हैं। हिमाचल के युवा जानते हैं कि ईमानदार नीयत के साथ अगर कोई विकास कर सकता है तो वो भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकार कर सकती है।

    *‘हर सेक्टर से जुड़े देश के प्रीमियम संस्थान आज हिमाचल में’*

    प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि बीते आठ वर्षों में सराकर ने उच्च शिक्षा के लिए कई संस्थान खोले हैं। इनमें आईआईटी मंडी के अलावा सिरमौर में आईआईएम, ऊना में आईआईआईटी, बिलासपुर में एम्स बन चुका है। अब शिमला के बाद मंडी में भी यूनिवर्सिटी है और धर्मशाला में भी केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय है। हर सेक्टर से जुड़े देश के प्रिमियम संस्थान आज हिमाचल में हैं। इसका बहुत बड़ा फायदा हिमाचल को युवाओं को हो रहा है। आठ-दस साल पहले जो सोचना भी असंभव था वो भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकार करके दिखा रही है।

    प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि आजादी के अमृत काल में भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था को टूरिज्म से एक बड़ा बल मिलने वाला है। उन्होंने कहा कि मैं खुद भी हिमाचल की देव संस्कृति और हस्तशिल्प से अभिभूत रहता हूं। कुल्लवी-किन्नौरी शॉल हो या फिर चंबा रूमाल, कांगड़ा पेंटिंग हो या फिर लाहौली गर्म जुराबें इन सभीको जीआई टैग मिला है। मेरा प्रयास रहता है कि विदेशी मेहमानों से मिलना होता है तो हिमाचल के उत्पादों को लेकर जाता हूं। ताकि पूरी दुनिया को हिमाचल के कौशल के बारे में जानकारी मिल सके।

    उन्होंने कहा कि आज जिस तरह से हिमाचल का टूरिज्म सेक्टर बढ़ रहा है वो उत्साह बढ़ाने वाला है। केंद्र सरकार ने कई देशों के साथ ई-वीजा शुरू किया है, इसका फायदा टूरिज्म को मिलेगा। इसका लाभ हिमाचल को भी लाभ होगा। कोरोना की मुश्किल से टूरिज्म सेक्टर जल्द से जल्द बाहर निकल सके इसके लिए हिमाचल सरकार ने सराहनीय प्रयास किए। शत-प्रतिशत टीककरण किया ताकि ये संदेश जाए कि हिमाचल सेफ है। मुद्रा योजना से हिमाचल में होम स्टे, रेस्टोरेंट और अन्य उद्यमों को गति मिली है। देशभर में मुद्रा योजना के तहत अभी तक 19 लाख करोड़ के बिना गारंटी को लोन दिए जा चुके हैं। हिमाचल में भी लगभग 14 हजार करोड़ रुपये लोगों को दिए जा चुके हैं। हिमाचल में रोजगार के हजारों अवसर बने हैं।

    *‘हाईवे के रख-रखाव और विस्तार को केंद्र ने दिए 14 हजार करोड़’*

    प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि हिमाचल किसानों-बागवानों का प्रदेश है। हिमाचल को केंद्र सरकार की योजनाओं का फायदा मिल रहा है। किसान उत्पादक संघ बनाने पर भी केंद्र सरकार जोर दे रही है। हिमाचल में इंटीग्रेटेड कोल्ड चेन, एग्रो प्रोसेसिंग क्लस्टर, फ्रूट प्रोसेसिंग यूनिट्स और फ्रुट टेस्टिंग लैब का नेटवर्क तैयार किया जा रहा है। ऐसे हर काम से युवाओं को रोजगार मिलता है। पिछले आठ वर्षों में केंद्र सरकार ने हिमाचल में नेशनल हाईवे के रख-रखाव और विस्तार के लिए करीब 14 हजार करोड़ रुपये दिए हैं। जबकि 2014 से पहले आठ वर्षों में केंद्र सरकार से दो हजार करोड़ से भी कम मिलते थे। हमारी सरकार ने हिमाचल को पहले की सरकार के मुकाबले सात गुणा ज्यादा राशि दी है।

    इस वर्ष के केंद्रीय बजट में दो बड़े प्रोग्राम घोषित किए हैं। जिनका हिमाचल को लाभ मिलने वाला है। वर्तमान प्रोजेक्ट के तहत पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में रोपवे नेटवर्क को विस्तार देने की योजना है। जिसका लाभ हिमाचल के पर्यटन क्षेत्रों को हो रहा है। इसी तरह से वाइब्रेंट विलेज के तहत सीमा के साथ लगते गांवों का विकास किया जा रहा है। वर्क फ्रॉम होम को लेकर जो नीतियां बनी हैं उसका लाभ हिमाचल को हो रहा है।

    *‘ड्रोन नीति बनाने के लिए प्रदेश सरकार को बधाई’*

    प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि मुझे खुशी है कि हिमाचल उन प्रदेशों में से है जिसने अपनी ड्रोन नीति बनाई है, इसके लिए प्रदेश सरकार को बधाई देता हूं। इससे खेती-बागवानी में काफी मदद मिलेगी। ड्रोन के बढ़ते इस्तेमाल को देखते हुए युवाओं को ट्रेनिंग देने के लिए कई कोर्स भी शुरू किए गए हैं। इसके अलावा कनेक्टिविटी के साथ-साथ हेल्थ और वेलफेयर से जुड़े दूसरे इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर में भी हिमाचल आगे बढ़ रहा है। बिलासपुर का एम्स बनकर तैयार है। मोहाली में कैंसर अस्पताल का हाल ही में उद्घाटन हुआ है जिसका लाभ हिमाचल के लोगों को मिलेगा। हिमाचल के 8 लाख से अधिक परिवारों को नल से जल की सुविधा मिली है। केंद्रीय मंत्रीमंडल ने हिमाचल के हाटी समुदाय को एसटी का दर्जा देने के लिए मंजूरी दी है। इससे गिरीपार क्षेत्र के हजारों युवाओं को इस निर्णय से अनेक नए अवसर मिलेंगे।

    *‘मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर ने जताया पीएम का आभार’*

    मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर ने प्रधानमंत्री का कार्यक्रम में वर्चुअली रूप से जुड़ने के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया।उन्होंने कहा कि 2017 में जब प्रदेश में भाजपा की सरकार बनी है, पहले दिन से हिमाचल के विकास को प्राथमिकता दी है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जहां हर कदम पर आप लोगों को साथ मिला वहीं, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के सहयोग से हिमाचल लगातार आगे बढ़ा है। बल्क ड्रग पार्क स्वीकृत करने के लिए भी आभार व्यक्त किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस बार हिमाचल प्रदेश में रिवाज जरूर बदलेगा। उन्होंने प्रदेश के विभिन्न जिलों से बड़ी संख्या में मंडी पहुंचे युवाओं का भी आभार जताया। उन्होंने कहा कि हम हिमाचल प्रदेश में एक बार फिर से भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकार बनाएंगे।

    CM inaugurates new Milkfed Plant Chakkar in Balh area of Mandi district

    Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated a new Milkfed Plant Chakkar in Balh area of Mandi district today which would increase its capacity to over 50,000 litres constructed at a cost of Rs 16.32 crore. He also inaugurated Community Health Centre, Gagal and Primary Health Centre, Rajgarh on the occasion. He said that this plant would process milk in a semi-automatic way, which would provide a facility of procurement of more milk from the farmers.

    While addressing a public meeting at Chakkar, Jai Ram Thakur said that the HP Milkfed collected about 395 lakh liters of milk from 47,295 farmers of the State during the year 2021-22 and Rs 110.56 crore was provided to the farmers. He said that milk was one of the most important sources of income to the farmers of the State. He said that during the tenure of the present State Government, the purchase of milk has increased by 78 per cent, that is, from 219.00 lakh liters in the year 2017-18 to 395.39 lakh liters in the year 2021-22. The total turnover of Himachal Pradesh Milk Federation in the year 2017-18 was Rs.99 crore which has increased to Rs.172 crore in the year 2021-22, he added.

    Chief Minister said that during the present government, an unprecedented increase of Rs.9 was made in the price of milk purchased from farmers, from Rs.22.90 per liter in the year 2017-18 to Rs.31.90 per liter in the year 2022-23. He said that the commission of milk societies was increased from 4.5 per cent to 5 percent and the Milk Federation was paying the best price to the milk producers in the country.

    Jai Ram Thakur said that Milkfed today has 11 Milk Processing Plants, one Cattle Feed Plant and one Powder Plant functioning in the State. With the commissioning of Milk Plant Chakkar (Mandi), the daily capacity of milk plots has increased from 100000 litres to 130000 litres. He said that another Milk Processing Plant of 50,000 litres capacity was under construction in Duttnagar, of which 70 percent work has been completed. He said that this plant would facilitate about thousands of farmers from Mandi, Kullu and other districts.

    Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would visit Mandi town tomorrow, which shows his benevolence towards the State and its people. He said that the Prime Minister has sanctioned a Bulk Drug Pharma Park for the State even before his visit to the State. This was a befitting reply to those who alleged that the Prime Minister has given nothing to the State, he added. He said that a special assistance of Rs 800 crore was provided by the Prime Minister to the State, besides sanctioning developmental projects worth over Rs. 10,000 crore for the State.

    Jai Ram Thakur said that the opposition leaders were perturbed by the decision of the State Government to organize 75 events to thank the people of the State for their contributions over these years to make Himachal Pradesh as one of the frontrunner States of the country in matter of development. He said that the slogan of the BJP Government regarding changing the tradition was also not going well with the Congress leaders. He said that this tradition has changed throughout the country and now it was the turn of Himachal Pradesh to do so.

    Chief Minister announced the opening of ITI in the upper area of Balh and two veterinary hospitals at Balt and Sadhayani provided they fulfill all the norms.

    MLA Balh Inder Singh Gandhi thanked the Chief Minister for always being considerate towards the developmental demands of the people of the area. He said that developmental projects worth over Rs 780 crore were being executed in the Balh assembly constituency. He also urged the Chief Minister to open one ITI at Balh. He also detailed various developmental demands of the area.

    Chairman MILKFED Nihal Chand Sharma welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries present on the occasion. He thanked the Chief Minister for inaugurating the milk plant to facilitate the farmers of the region. He said that presently, the daily capacity of the Milk Processing Plot at Chakkar was 20,000 litres and about 50,000 to 60,000 litres of milk was being collected daily in this processing plant. He also thanked the Chief Minister for making a record increase of Rs 9 per litre to the farmers.

    Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur performed inaugurations and foundation stones of 39 developmental projects worth about Rs. 370 crore at Jogindernagar Mela Ground for Jogindernagar Assembly Constituency of Mandi district today.

    Chief Minister, while addressing the largely attended public meeting at Jogindernagar as part of ‘Pragatisheel Himachal: Sathapna Ke 75 Varsh’ programme, said that the State Government has been organizing these events in an attempt to express its gratitude to the people of the State for their support and cooperation during the 75 years glorious journey of Himachal Pradesh. He said that people of every section of the society had made immense support and cooperation in making Himachal Pradesh, where it stands today. He said that there were only 4 districts when the State came into existence on 15th April, 1948 with a population of little over 11 lakh, whereas today the State has a population of over 70 lakh. He said that the State had an area of 25,839 sq. kms at that time whereas today the State has a total area of 55,673 sq. kms. He said that today the literacy rate of the State was over 83 per cent, as compared to a literacy rate of 4.8 per cent in 1948. He said that the State has made immense progress in the field of health, education, horticulture, tourism and allied sectors.

    Jai Ram Thakur said that although the State Government was about to complete five years in office, but actually it got only three years to work as the whole world, the country and the State had to face hard times due to Corona pandemic. He said that with the wholehearted support of the people, the State was able to control the situation and also simultaneously ensured to maintain the pace of development. He said that the State Government was getting full support from the Centre Government in the matter of development.

    Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a special attachment towards Himachal Pradesh and under his leadership the State has got projects worth thousands of crores, adding that it was due to the benevolence of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the 90:10 ratio for funding of Central projects was restored. He said that the Prime Minister has visited the State seven times till date and would be visiting the State three more times within a month. He said that this shows the love and connect the Prime Minister had with the State and its people. He said that a special financial assistance of Rs. 800 crore was also provided to the State to accelerate the pace of development and during his Mandi visit on completion of four years of the present State Government dedicated developmental projects worth Rs. 10,000 crore for the State. He said that AIIMS, IIM, IIIT, Central University, PGI Satellite Center were sanctioned for the State by the BJP Government at Centre. He said that a Bulk Drug Pharma Park has been sanctioned for the State by the Prime Minister which would attract investment of over Rs. 50,000 crore and provide employment to over 30,000 youth.

    Jai Ram Thakur said that opposition leaders get perturbed by the slogan of the State Government regarding ‘Changing the tradition’ of not repeating the Government in the State. He said that people of the State have made up their mind and would surely ensure ‘Mission Repeat’ in the State like other States of the country. He said that the present State Government was spending Rs. 1300 crore on providing social security pension as compared to Rs. 400 crore spent by the previous government. He said that schemes such as Shagun Yojna, Sahara Yojna, Grihini Suvidha Yojna, 50 percent concession to women in bus fare, 125 units free power were that have helped the people of the State in a big way. He said that all this was possible due to a Government headed by a leader coming from a humble background as he understands the developmental aspirations of the poor and the downtrodden. He urged the people of the State to give their wholehearted support to the present State Government so that the pace of development goes at a steady pace.

    Chief Minister announced upgradation of Government High School Paplotu to Government Senior Secondary School, upgradation of Government Middle School Jimjima to Government High School, starting of Science classes in Government Senior Secondary School Tullah, opening of patwar circle in Gram Panchayat Dhar and PHC in Gram Panchayat Gumma. He also announced Rs. 15 lakh for development of Mela Ground Jogindernagar.

    Jai Ram Thakur said that the lease period of the Shanan power project with the Punjab Government would be ending by next year and it would be handed over to the Himachal Pradesh Government.

    Chief Minister was accorded a rousing welcome on his arrival at Jogindernagar. Various social and political organizations also honoured the Chief Minister on the occasion.

    Local MLA Prakash Rana, while welcoming the Chief Minister, said that it was an historic day for the people of the Jogindernagar as the Chief Minister has today inaugurated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth about Rs. 370 crore for the constituency. He said that the Chief Minister had always accorded top most priority to ensure that the pace of development goes uninterrupted in all areas of the State. He said that IPH division was provided to the area by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur which has ensured better water supply to the area. He also detailed various developmental projects being executed in the constituency. He also accused the previous State Government for ignoring the constituency in matter of development.

    Former Speaker, Minister and senior BJP leader Thakur Gulab Singh welcomed the Chief Minister and said that a new history would be created this time in the State and BJP would again form Government in the State under the leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.     Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid foundation stones of various developmental schemes worth Rs. 55.03 crore in Sundernagar assembly constituency of Mandi district today and presided over the “Labharthi Samwad” programme at Jawahar Park in Sundernagar.

    Addressing a huge public meeting on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the State Government was organizing 75 programs across the state to commemorate the 75 years of Independence and the 75 years of the formation of Himachal Pradesh. The main objective of these programs was to celebrate the golden journey of the state and to make the new generation aware of glorious struggle of India’s independence, he added.

    He said that the BJP government in Himachal Pradesh had given top priority to all-round development of the state and the welfare and upliftment of every section of society. He said that 3.35 lakh families had been benefitted under Mukhya Mantri Grihini Suvidha Yojna in the state by spending Rs 134 crore. 21 thousand people had been benefitted through Mukhya Mantri Sahara Yojna, with an expenditure of Rs 120 crore. Where as 6626 girls got the benefit of Mukhya Mantri Shagun Yojna, with an expenditure of 20.54 crore.

    Chief Minister said that Rs. 325.58 crore had been spent under HIMCARE scheme and 3.42 lakh people were able to get the benefit of this scheme. The State government has also made the provision for free electricity upto 125 units to people and free drinking water in the rural areas, added the Chief Minister. He said that 7,20,514 people were getting social security pension in the state on which Rs 3052 crore had been spent till date.

    Jai Ram Thakur said that due to the record development works of “Double Engine” Government in State and Centre, BJP was getting immense public support. Now leaders of other parties are also joining BJP, added Chief Minister. He said that the people of the state would again bring the BJP to power in the upcoming assembly elections.

    Referring to the development of Sundernagar assembly constituency, the Chief Minister said that Rs. 5.64 crore had been spent on Nihri Ropa Bandla road, Rs. 4.17 crore on Dhawal Batwara road, Rs. 9.79 crore on Salapar Serikothi road, Rs. 9.24 crore on Sehli-Chowhri road and 7.18 crore on Sundernagar-Bina road Rs. and taring of Kateru-Salapad via Paudakothi road had been completed with the cost of Rs. 7.25 crore.

    He said that works of two bridges on Bayla Khad had been completed at the total cost of Rs. 1.81 crore. Bridge on Pungha-Kapahi road worth Rs. 4.83 crore, bridge on Sundernagar-Maramsit via Gharanda road worth Rs. two crore, Saul Serikothi Khad bridge Rs. 3.16 crore and the work of Suketi Khad bridge worth Rs. two crore on Mangalah-Mairamsit road had been completed.

    He said that Rs. 2.88 crore had been spent on community health center Dehar building, Rs 8.04 crore on degree college building of Nihri, Rs. 2.11 crore on science lab of Senior Secondary School (Boys) Sundernagar, Rs. 12 crore on Mother and Child hospital Sundernagar and Rs. 10.69 crore were spent on Cluster University building at Sundernagar.

    The Chief Minister said that about Rs. 255 crore had been spent in Sundernagar area under various schemes of Jal Shakti Department. These include 37 drinking water schemes worth Rs. 210 crore, 12 irrigation schemes worth Rs. 23 crore, sewerage schemes worth Rs. 19.36 crore and flood control works worth Rs. 2.15 crore.

    He said that the problem of water crisis in all the wards of the Sundernagar had been resolved with the construction of lift drinking water scheme costing Rs. 23.21 crore. He said that the work of drinking water scheme for Dehar and adjoining areas with Rs. 30 crore has been almost completed. Apart from this, the work of lift drinking water scheme Chamukha Nalani at a cost of Rs. 2.89 crore and work of parking at Chatrokhdi at a cost of about Rs. 11 crore was in progress, he added.

    Chief Minister announced a Primary Health Center for Paudakothi, veterinary dispensaries for village Bajihan and Shegal. He also announced to upgrade veterinary dispensary Hadaboi as veterinary hospital, opening of Patwar circle in Dharanda of Gram Panchayat Khilda, upgradation of Nihari police post to police station, Renaming of Nihari College on the name of Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya and Senior Secondary School Maloh as Shaheed Dina Nath Senior Secondary School Maloh.

    Earlier, Chief Minister inaugurated Assistant Commissioner State Taxes and Excise office building and residence worth Rs. 2.54 crore, Government Polytechnic College mechanical department building constructed at a cost of Rs. 5.58 crore and a foot bridge at Chatrokhadi Chowk constructed at a cost of Rs 1.10 crore. Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of lift irrigation scheme Banthal worth Rs 10.52 crore, Strengthening of Bari Khad Natan source to be completed at the cost of Rs. 1.79 crore. He also laid the foundation stone worth Rs. 1.5 crore Alsaid Khad source strengthening and building of Government Degree College Dehar which will be constructed at the estimated cost of Rs. 30 crore.

    Chairman Zila Parishad Pal Verma, Deputy Commissioner Arindam Chaudhary, Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri, Elected representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions, Senior Officers of various departments and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

     पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री पंडित सुखराम के पोते और सदर मंडी से भाजपा विधायक अनिल शर्मा के पुत्र तथा प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के महासचिव आश्रय शर्मा ने कांग्रेस पार्टी द्वारा आयोजित युवा रोजगार यात्रा के पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। रविवार को अचानक से आश्रय शर्मा द्वारा युवा रोजगार यात्रा के पद से इस्तीफा देकर प्रदेश कांग्रेस में भूचाल खड़ा कर दिया है। आश्रय शर्मा ने अपना इस्तीफा अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी को प्रेषित करते हुए अवगत करवाया है।

    बता दें कि मंडी संसदीय क्षेत्र में सोमवार से युवा रोजगार यात्रा का आगाज शिमला ग्रामीण विधायक विक्रमादित्य सिंह द्वारा करसोग और सराज विधानसभा क्षेत्र से शुरुआत की जा रही है। युवा रोजगार यात्रा कांग्रेस की प्रदेशाध्यक्ष एवं मंडी संसदीय क्षेत्र की सांसद प्रतिभा सिंह की अध्यक्षता में और प्रतिपक्ष नेता मुकेश अग्निहोत्री कैंपेन कमेटी के चेयरमैन सुखविंदर सिंह की अगुवाई में निकाली जा रही है। इसी बीच युवा रोजगार यात्रा के सदस्य आश्रय शर्मा ने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है।

    हीं दूसरी ओर आश्रय शर्मा ने कहा कि उनके द्वारा इस्तीफा देने का निर्णय मंडी में शिमला के कांग्रेस आला पदाधिकारियों द्वारा दखलअंदाजी किए जाने के कारण लिया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि कल सोमवार को करसोग और सराज में सोमवार से युवा रोजगार यात्रा के कार्यक्रम है। लेकिन उसके लिए उन्हें किसी भी प्रकार की कोई सूचना तक नहीं है। जिससे आहत होकर आश्रय शर्मा ने युवा रोजगार यात्रा के शुरू होने से ठीक एक दिन पहले ही अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है।

    इससे पहले भी हिमाचल प्रदेश में 6 बार मुख्यमंत्री रहे दिवंगत पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री वीरभद्र सिंह और पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री पंडित सुखराम के परिवार के बीच में राजनीतिक विवाद उपजता रहा है। अब एक बार फिर से दो परिवारों की सियासी जंग खुलकर जनता के सामने आ गई है। इससे मंडी जिला सहित समूचे प्रदेश में तरह-तरह की चर्चाओं का इस चुनावी बेला में बातों के दौर का बाजार गर्म है।

    Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur performed inaugurations and foundation stones of 92 developmental projects worth about Rs. 980 crore at Sidhpur and Cholthara in Dharampur assembly constituency of Mandi district today during his one day tour to this constituency.

     

    While addressing a mammoth public meeting at Sidhpur, Chief Minister said that the double engine Governments at the Centre and the State were ensuring that development goes at an accelerated pace in the State. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence as ‘Adazi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and it was a coincidence that Himachal Pradesh was also celebrating 75 years of its existence. He said that the State Government has decided to celebrate this occasion in a befitting manner by organizing 75 events. He said that this decision of the State Government was not going well with the Congress leaders as they were getting baffled by the huge crowd coming in these public meetings.

     

    Jai Ram Thakur said that the Congress leaders were misleading the people of the State in the matter of development. He said that the Congress leaders were trying to woo the voters of the State by giving ten guarantees. He said that it was strange that a Party with no guarantee of its own was giving ten guarantees. He said that the BJP made a sweeping victory in general elections held in year 2014 upholding Narendra Modi’s image as its Prime Ministerial candidate. He said that in 2019 general elections again BJP swept back to power and it won 303 seats in the Lok Sabha, bettering the 282 seats it won in 2014. He said that the BJP ensured ‘Mission Repeat’ in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Manipur and now it was the turn of Himachal Pradesh to break the jinx of not repeating the Government.

     

    Chief Minister said that the State has immensely been benefitted by the benevolence of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that in addition to special assistance of Rs. 800 crore provided to the State, the Prime Minister restored the special category status of the State in central funding by restoring 90:10 ratio for all central projects. He said that during these five years, the Prime Minister has visited the State for a record seven times.

     

    Referring to the Development of Dharampur area, Chief Minister said that the area was being represented by a dedicated leader committed for the development of the area for the last about 38 years. He announced opening of HPSEB Ltd. Circle at Dharampur, opening of Civil Judge Court at Dharampur, opening of Fire Sub Station at Dharampur, starting of Science and Commerce classes at GSSS Sari, opening of Health Sub Centre at Pheahar, Chowki and Chhej Gwala and Sub Office of HP House and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board at Dharampur.

    Union Information and Broadcasting, Youth Services and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said that the State as well as Dharampur Vidhan Sabha area has witnessed unprecedented development during the last about five years and this was possible due to the double engine governments at the Centre and the State. He said that the Centre Government restored the special category status to Himachal Pradesh which was discontinued by the previous Congress Government at the Centre. He said that the Centre Government has provided adequate funds to the State under various Central projects being executed. He said that the people of the country elected a common man as Prime Minister eight years ago who has ensured that the Nation emerges as a super power with no place for corruption.

     

    Anurag Singh Thakur said that Himachal Pradesh was not only known as a ‘Dev Bhoomi’, but also a ‘Veer Bhoomi’ as people have an inborn passion to serve the India Armed Forces. He said that during the covid-19 pandemic, free ration was provided by the Centre Government to about 80 crore population of the country. He said that over 220 crore free vaccine doses were also provided to the people of the country. He also appreciated the good work done by the State Government headed by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in the field of vaccination and effective implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission. He also detailed the call of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take five vows to make India strong and vibrant. He said that Bulk Drug Park and Medical Devices Park for the State were also sanctioned for the State by the Union Government due to special benevolence of the Prime Minster. He said that adequate funds would be provided for construction of play grounds and stadiums in Dharampur area. He also thanked the Chief Minister for increasing social security pension and providing 125 units free power to domestic electric consumers in the State.

     

    Jal Shakti Minister Mahender Singh Thakur, while welcoming the Chief Minister, Union Minister and other dignitaries, said that the people of the State were fortunate that today the State was being headed by a honest, hardworking and a person from a humble background, who understands the developmental aspirations of the common man. He said that despite the corona pandemic, the five years tenure of the present State Government would go down in the annals of the State as golden tenure in the matter of development. He said that till date the Chief Minister has visited the constituency four times, and each time has dedicated developmental projects worth crores of rupees for the area. He also thanked the Chief Minister for always being considerate towards the developmental demands of the people of the area. He urged the people of the area to give their wholehearted support to the BJP so that the pace of development goes uninterrupted. He also detailed developmental demands of the area.
