MoU signed between MSHIPA and GiZ
In a significant step towards organizational collaboration, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between Dr. Manmohan Singh Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration, Fairlawns, Mashobra and The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, India.
The MoU was signed by the Secretary (Training & Foreign Assignment) C. Paulrasu and Mr. Rajiv Ahal on behalf of GIZ India in the presence of Director (MSHIPA) at a formal ceremony held in the HP Secretariat. The objective of this MoU is to collaborate for ‘SAMRIDH Himachal-2045’ and produce the 20 years vision document.
This MOU defines the scope of collaboration between the parties for implementing and promoting ‘SAMRIDH Himachal-2045’ through interventions like training, workshops, knowledge support, coordination support, policy guidelines and required institutional systems. The key target groups of the initiative are citizens, experts, officials, media, civil society organizations, academic and research institutions, technical and knowledge provider organizations and elected political representatives in the identified thematic clusters.
The signing of this MoU marks the beginning of a meaningful partnership aimed at promoting academic excellence and addressing contemporary issues through collective insight and dialogue.

Bahra University Signs MoUs to bridge the gap between academia and industry

To equip students and faculty with cutting-edge technological skills and global exposure, Bahra University today signed four key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading organizations: upGrad, IBM, HCLTech, and Larsen & Toubro (L&T). These MoUs will facilitate internships, joint research initiatives, skill development programs, and knowledge-sharing platforms, aligning education with evolving industry demands.

On this occasion, Chancellor Bahra University stated, “These collaborations mark a significant milestone in our journey towards bridging the gap between academia and industry. By integrating cutting-edge technologies and real-world insights into our curriculum, we aim to prepare our students for the future.” This MoU represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to integrate industry-relevant learning and provide our students with opportunities to acquire globally recognized certifications and digital badges, he added.
Sakshi Mehta, Director of Alpha School, said the MoU with IBM and three other leading organizations will mark a transformative moment for our institution. We will focus on implementing innovative programs, workshops, and certification courses, enabling students to thrive in a competitive, tech-driven world. It will also provide faculty members with resources to remain at the forefront of technological advancements.

Govt. signs MoU to boost Green Energy and E-Vehicle infrastructure in state: CM

The State government today here signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the esteemed presence of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. He said that the MoU was signed with two companies to enhance facilities across five selected green corridors in the state and this initiative marks a significant step towards achieving the state government’s vision of a sustainable green future.
Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that as per the tender agreement Jio-BP would develop the Mandi-Jogindernagar-Pathankot and Kiratpur-Manali-Kelang corridors, while EVI Technology would complete the work of Parwanoo-Una-Sansarpur Terrace-Nurpur and Parwanoo, Shimla-Recongpeo-Losar corridors within one year. Apart from this Electroweb Company would work on developing the Shimla-Hamirpur-Chamba Green Corridors. As part of the project, the companies would establish EV charging stations, way-side amenities and supermarkets at 41 strategic locations along these corridors within a year.
The Chief Minister said that for e-buses, e-trucks and other electric vehicles the charging facility would made available in these 41 locations. Apart from this public amenities such as toilets and restaurants would also be established in these places and the companies would pay Rs.75 lakh annually as lease money to the state government. He said that the state government has decided to make Himachal a Green Energy State by 2026 for which the government was developing the state as the model state for e-Vehicles. This initiative would play a vital role in reducing carbon emissions and promoting a sustainable environment for future generations. He said that the state government would transit the fleet of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) to electric buses in a phased manner.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that the state government was steadfast in its commitment to environmental preservation and working with utmost dedication and was also planning to procure 350 e-buses to achieve its goal. He said that due to the efforts of the state government the State Transport Department became the first department in the country to operate an entirely electric vehicle fleet. He said that the establishment of these green corridors would also encourage private vehicle owners to switch to electric vehicles.
Director Transport Department D.C Negi signed the MoU on behalf of the state government, with Rahul Soni representing EVI Technology and Avinash Sharma representing Jio-BP.
Principal Secretary R.D. Nazim and other dignitaries were also present at the event.

Shoolini signs MOUs with Australian universities
Solan, December 5

Shoolini University has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with top universities in Australia in the interest of students and researchers at Shoolini University.

Mr Vishal Anand the Pro Chancellor of Shoolini University signed MoU with Western Sydney University (WSU) and Prof Atul Khosla, the Vice Chancellor of Shoolini University has signed MoU with Central Queensland University.

The two Australian universities and Shoolini University have agreed to undertake joint research on Sustainable Development Goals, and joint higher study opportunities besides faculty exchange programmes for mutual benefits.

Prof. R. P. Dwivedi, the Director of International Affairs at Shoolini University said that many students from campus can look for opportunities in Australia and a long-term stay.

Dr Rozy Dhanta Assistant Director International said, Students of Shoolini University would have a chance for part time job during study and work visa after study in Australia.
