    NEET UG 2026 Results Declared: 11.21 Lakh Candidates Qualify, Over 58% Successful Candidates Are Women

    New Delhi, July 16: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday declared the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026, paving the way for the commencement of medical admissions and counselling across the country. According to the NTA, 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical programmes.

     

    Nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for the examination, which was conducted at 5,440 centres across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad in 13 languages. The agency said the results have been announced in time to ensure that the counselling and admission schedule remains on track.

     

    In a significant trend, more than 58 per cent of the qualified candidates are women, reflecting strong female participation and performance in this year’s examination. The majority of top-performing candidates are in the 17–19 years age group.

     

    Candidates can now download their scorecards from the official NEET website. The NTA has also published the list of All India Rank holders, state toppers, category-wise toppers, cut-off marks and language-wise participation statistics.

    According to reports, Aryan Gupta of Punjab and Panshul Bansal of Haryana secured the All India Rank 1 with 715 marks each.

Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur has declared the results of all regular semester and re-appear exams of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) subjects held in May-June. The results of MBA second semester regular, third and first re-appear exams were declared on Thursday. Candidates can check their results on the website. The examination controller said that the results of all UG-PG subjects have been declared.

    Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said here today that the results of the written examinations of various post codes conducted by disbanded Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission which were not under the vigilance inquiry will be declared within a week. Besides, the results of those post codes not requiring any vigilance inquiry will also be declared soon.

     

    The Chief Minister said that Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has already started the process of issuing re-advertisement for recruitment for post codes for Class-III for which the Staff Selection Commission had not conducted the written test.

     

    Chief Minister said that the state government was taking decisions keeping in mind the interests of the youth. He said that age relaxation will be given to the candidates who have already applied for the examinations for which the Staff Selection Commission had issued advertisements and also the fees will not be charged again.

    While presiding over the Silver Jubilee function of the Himachal Medical Officers Association (HMOA) organized at Dev Sanskriti Sadan in Mandi today Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu lauded the efforts of doctors and healthcare workers in serving society and said that the state government has implemented radical reforms in the medical field and the results would be visible in a year to come.

    He also highlighted the government’s efforts to provide modern medical facilities to the people of the state. Despite the challenging economic situation in the state, the Chief Minister assured that there would be no shortage of funds for development. He said that today every Himachali has a debt of Rs. 92,840 and financial benefits of the employees are also due.

    He said that for dental doctors, under the Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Scheme, a provision of 50 percent subsidy has been made for the purchase of medical equipments. The Chief Minister said that Robotic surgery would be introduced in the four medical colleges and the government is moving in this direction.

    Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the state government was making efforts to reduce carbon emissions. He said that e-vehicles will be used in all government departments in three years and diesel buses fleet of HRTC would be transformed into e-buses in a phased manner. He said that the government has made a provision of 50 percent subsidy to the youth on the purchase of e-bus, e-taxi, e-truck and e-goods carrier. Along with this, the state government is going to provide 40 percent financial assistance for solar power projects with capacity ranging from 250 KW to 2 MW. He said that demonstrating strong will-power and giving priority to the self-esteem of the employees, the state government has reinstated the old pension.

    Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil said that doctors, para-medical staff and ASHA workers have played an important role in protecting humanity during the Covid-19 era. Along with this, the health workers of the state have also done a commendable job in Covid-19 vaccination. Appreciating the first budget of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, he said that special attention has been laid on the health sector.

    Earlier, Association President Dr. Anupam Badhan welcomed Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and thanked him for reinstating the old pension. Along with this, he gave detailed information about the activities of the association.

    The Chief Minister released the souvenir of the association.

    HMOA presented a cheque of Rs. 21 lahks to Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. A cultural program was also presented on the occasion, for which the Chief Minister announced Rs. 25,000.

    MLAs Anil Sharma and Chandrashekhar, former Ministers Kaul Singh Thakur and Prakash Chaudhary, senior Congress leaders Sohan Lal Thakur, Champa Thakur, Pawan Thakur, Naresh Chauhan, Chet Ram Thakur, Jeevan Thakur, Mahesh Raj, Surendra Pal Thakur, Sanjeev were present on the occasion.     हिमाचल प्रदेश की बोर्ड कक्षाओं में 80 से 100 फीसदी परीक्षा परिणाम देने वाले शिक्षकों को विशेष वेतन वृद्धि मिलेगी। शिक्षकों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए इस बाबत उच्च शिक्षा निदेशालय ने प्रस्ताव बनाना शुरू कर दिया है। तीसरी, पांचवीं, आठवीं, दसवीं और बारहवीं कक्षाओं के शिक्षक इसके दायरे में आएंगे। बोर्ड कक्षाओं में बेहतर परिणाम लाने वाले शिक्षकों को अधिक वित्तीय लाभ देने की तैयारी शुरू की गई है। राज्य सरकार से मंजूरी मिलने के बाद इस योजना को लागू किया जाएगा। कोरोना संकट से पहले शिक्षा विभाग की ओर से बेहतर परीक्षा परिणाम देने वाले शिक्षकों को विशेष इंक्रीमेंट देना शुरू किया था। मार्च 2020 के बाद इसे बंद कर दिया था। अब दोबारा से इस पर मंथन शुरू हो गया है।

    इसी शैक्षणिक सत्र से विशेष वेतन वृद्धि देने की योजना है। दसवीं और बारहवीं कक्षा के नतीजे इसी माह घोषित होने हैं। ऐसे में शिक्षा निदेशालय का यह प्रस्ताव सिरे चढ़ा तो जुलाई-अगस्त तक इन दो बोर्ड कक्षाओं के शिक्षकों का मूल्यांकन करने के बाद इंक्रीमेंट दे दी जाएगी। तीसरी, पांचवीं और आठवीं कक्षाओं में 80 फीसदी से अधिक परिणाम देने वाले शिक्षकों को इनकी वार्षिक परीक्षाओं के बाद इंक्रीमेंट दी जाएगी। शिक्षा मंत्री गोविंद सिंह ठाकुर ने बताया कि इस प्रस्ताव को अभी तैयार किया जा रहा है। गुणात्मक शिक्षा पर सरकार का जोर है। ऐसे में बेहतर परीक्षा परिणाम देने वाले शिक्षकों को भी प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए प्रस्ताव बनाने को कहा गया है।

    हिमाचल प्रदेश के ग्रीष्मकालीन स्कूलों में नॉन बोर्ड कक्षाओं का परीक्षा परिणाम गुरुवार को जारी होगा। पहली से आठवीं कक्षा तक विद्यार्थियों की बीते दिनों परीक्षाएं हुई हैं। शुक्रवार से इन स्कूलों में नया शैक्षणिक सत्र शुरू होगा। नौवीं कक्षा का पांच अप्रैल और 11वीं कक्षा का परीक्षा परिणाम 18 अप्रैल को जारी होगा।

    गुरुवार को ग्रीष्मकालीन स्कूलों में शिक्षक-अभिभावक संवाद भी होगा। इस दौरान विद्यार्थियों की कमियों को दूर करने को लेकर चर्चा की जाएगी। वित्तीय वर्ष समाप्त होने से पहले गुरुवार को कई स्कूलों में एसएमसी की बैठकें भी होगीं।

    हिमाचल प्रदेश विश्वविद्यालय के ईआरपी सिस्टम में इस बार सभी पीजी कोर्स में ऑन स्क्रीन करवाए गए मूल्यांकन से पैदा हुई छात्रों की समस्याएं कम होने का नाम नहीं ले रही हैं। नए सिस्टम के कारण पहले ही पांच माह बाद रिजल्ट घोषित होने की प्रक्रिया शुरू हुई। जो रिजल्ट घोषित किए भी जा रहे हैं। इनमें भी आधे-अधूरे होने के मामले सामने आ रहे हैं। अगले सेमेस्टर की परीक्षा दे रहे विद्यार्थी अब अपना पिछला परिणाम सेटल करवाने के लिए दौड़ धूप करें या फिर अगले सेमेस्टर की परीक्षा की तैयारी करें। ऐसे ही कुछ छात्रों की परिणाम घोषित करने के बाद डाउनलोड किए गए रिजल्ट कार्ड में पांच में से सिर्फ एक या दो विषयों के ही पूरे अंक हैं, शेष का आरएलए दर्शाया गया है। कई विद्यार्थियों के दो-दो विषयों के अवार्ड ही रिजल्ट कार्ड पर अंकित किए गए हैं।

    ऐसे आधे-अधूरे घोषित किए गए परिणाम से विद्यार्थियों को अपना पिछला पूरा परिणाम नहीं मिल पा रहा है। विद्यार्थी नहीं जान पा रहे है कि पिछली परीक्षा में वे कितने विषयों में पास हुए और कितने अंक प्राप्त कर पाए हैं। विवि के विधि विभाग के एलएलबी में ऐसे छात्रों की संख्या अधिक है। एसएफआई की विवि इकाई के अध्यक्ष रॉकी का आरोप है कि अब तक जो पीजी कोर्स के परिणाम घोषित किए गए हैं, उनमें करीब 80 फीसदी ऐसे ही परिणाम हैं, जो आधू-अधूरे हैं।

    आधे नतीजों को सेटल करवाने के लिए विद्यार्थी विवि के चक्कर काट रहे हैं। विवि का ईआरपी सिस्टम पूरी तरह से फेल है। ऐसे नतीजों का कोई मतलब नहीं रह जाता है। नतीजे घोषित करने में लगे पांच माह के बाद छात्र संगठनों के बने दबाव और विरोध को शांत करने के लिए विवि ने आननफानन में आधे अधूरे अवार्ड चढ़ाकर परिणाम घोषित कर दिए। इन नतीजों से विद्यार्थियों को राहत की जगह और अधिक परेशानी हो रही है। उन्होंने विवि के परीक्षा नियंत्रक के समक्ष इस समस्या को गंभीरता से उठाया और इसका तुरंत समाधान करने पूरे परिणाम घोषित करने की मांग की है।

     

     

     

    विवि के परीक्षा नियंत्रक डॉ. जेएस नेगी ने कहा कि समस्या उनके ध्यान में लाई गई है। पीजी के जो भी नतीजे घोषित किए जा रहे हैं। उन्हें कर्मचारी जांचकर घोषित कर रहे हैं। उनका कहना है कि आरएलए के रिजल्ट लेट डयू टू अवार्ड के कई कारण होते हैं। हर विद्यार्थी की समस्या को सुलझाने के लिए भी स्टाफ कार्य कर रहा है।

     

    विवि ने घोषित किए पीजी, एमफिल के नतीजे

    हिमाचल प्रदेश विवि ने कई पीजी कोर्स के नतीजे मंगलवार को घोषित किए हैं। इनमें एमए अर्थशास्त्र के पहले, तीसरे और चौथे सेमेस्टर, एमए हिंदी के पहले और तीसरे सेमेस्टर, एमए संस्कृत के पहले, दूसरे, तीसरे और चौथे सेमेस्टर के नतीजों के अलावा एमफिल इंग्लिश और पीएचडी इंग्लिश कोर्स वर्क के नतीजे भी घोषित कर दिए हैं।

     

    पीएचडी के लिए काउंसलिंग 15 मार्च को

    हिमाचल प्रदेश विवि के बायोटेक्नोलॉजी, माइक्रोबायोलॉजी विभाग में पीएचडी की सीटों में प्रवेश के लिए 15 मार्च को काउंसलिंग होगी। इसमें सत्र 2021-22 में दोनों पीएचडी में प्रवेश के लिए हुई परीक्षा में तीस या इससे अधिक अंक अर्जित करने वाले छात्र पात्र होंगे। विभागाध्यक्ष कार्यालय में होने वाली काउंसलिंग में छात्रों को सभी आवश्यक प्रमाण पत्र और दस्तावेज लाने होंगे।

     

     

     

    एलएलएम प्रथम सेमेस्टर की प्रवेश मेरिट की जारी

    हिमाचल प्रदेश विवि के विधि विभाग में एलएलएल कोर्स में सत्र 2021-22 को प्रवेश की मेरिट जारी कर दी गई है। इस सूची में प्रवेश पाने वाले छात्रों को 11 मार्च को दोपहर दो बजे तक तय फीस जमा करवाने का समय दिया गया है। फीस जमा न करवाने पर सीट को सूचि में वेटिंग में शामिल छात्रोें को आवंटित कर दिया जाएगा।
