Deputy Commissioner Shimla Anupam Kashyap said that in the district level meeting of Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Startup Scheme held here today, 02 applicants have been approved for e-taxi.
He informed that these beneficiaries include Sandeep Kumar, son of Man Singh, Dak Khana Junga Gadavan, Bhadech Khand Mashobra Tehsil Junga and Ishwar Das, son of Thakur Das, Ward No. 3, Jhakri Khand and Tehsil Rampur. He informed that under the scheme, a total of 7 applications have been approved so far this year, providing self-employment opportunities to the youth. He also appealed to other eligible unemployed youth to come forward to take advantage of this scheme. He informed that under the scheme, 50 percent amount will be given to the youth as subsidy for e-taxi.
Committee member secretary and district employment officer Devendra Kumar, members RTO Anil Sharma, DRDA project officer Karthik, LDM UCO Bank Kulwant were also present in the meeting.
