Bilaspur
A 10-day sailing camp was inaugurated by NCC Naval Unit Bilaspur on Sunday at Luhnu grounds. 60 cadets of senior division from Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh are participating in the camp. The camp was inaugurated by Commander Dr. Debasish Guha, Commanding Officer, NCC Naval Headquarters Bilaspur. During the camp, cadets will go sailing in Gobind Sagar Lake for 10 days and will also learn the nuances of sailing.
The camp started at 10:00 am, with three sailing votes, two rescue votes and one safety vote simultaneously. The cadets rowed about 24 kilometers to Auhar by boat. On this occasion, Chief Instructor Bharat Bhushan, PO Anil Sharma, Manish Thakur, Rajesh Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Vikram, GCI Ankita, ANO Sub Lieutenant Suresh Kumar, ANO Kewal Singh, CTO Abdul Majeed were present.
