ten-day workshop on Sanskrit conversation, organised by the School of Yoga, Shoolini University, concluded on Friday with a valedictory function.
The workshop was conducted in both the online and offline. Shri Lalit Sati was the teacher of Sanskrit Bharti for offline workshop and Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Sanskrit College, Una, was the teacher for online workshop. In all, 82 participants participated in the workshop.
The chief guest of the closing ceremony, Shri Narendra, Prant Sangathan mantri of Sanskrit Bharti, Himachal Pradesh. The function was moderated by Assistant Professors Miss Deepshikha Thakur and Bhawna Bhatia.
Mr. Pawan Kumar introduced the university and its achievements and the report of the workshop was given by Mr. Lalit Satti. Mr. Narendra said that Shoolini University is the first private university which has organised any workshop on Sanskrit subject. He said that if we want to know about our true history, we should learn Sanskrit for better understanding.
Chancellor Prof P K Khosla emphasised on taking up research with Sanskrit. Prof Manju Jaidka talked about making a new road map in the university regarding the subject of Sanskrit. Dr. Mala Tripathi delivered the vote of thanks to all the guests, participants and Sanskrit Bharti for organising the workshop.
On the last day of this workshop a competition was organized for the participants both online and offline in which cash prizes were distributed to the first three participants. A Sanskrit Science Exhibition was also organised in the department.
Dr. Subodh Saurabh Singh, Head, Department of Yoga and Pawan Kumar, Assistant Professor of Sanskrit took the initiative to organise the workshop.
