A 10-foot-long king cobra was seen in a wheat field in the Girinagar forest range of Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh on Friday. There was panic among the villagers after the king cobra was seen in the area. After this, the information was given to the forest department. Immediately after this, RO Surendra Sharma with his team Virender and Vinkesh of the Forest Department reached the spot with the team of the National Park Simbalbada Range and work was started to rescue the king cobra. Aishwarya Raj, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of the Paonta Sahib, said that a king cobra was seen in the Girinagar area. When the department received the information, a team was sent to the spot and the king cobra was safely rescued from the fields of the villagers. He said that this is the first time that a king cobra has been safely rescued and released in the forest.
According to experts, King Cobra is the world’s largest poisonous snake, which can be up to 13 feet long. Its identity is its large hood. The empire of King Cobra is spread from India to Indonesia. Its four species rule the whole world, which are the royal descendants of the species of King Cobra. Four different forms of this one and only snake can be seen.
After crossbreeding, King Cobra has a different, scary, and poisonous form. The four species of King Cobra found in the world have not yet got any official names. But they are known by the names of the Western Ghats lineage of South-West India, the Indo-Malayan lineage of India and Malaysia, the Indo-Chinese lineage of Western China and Indonesia and the Luzon Island lineage found in the Philippines.
