10 police personnel of Himachal Pradesh will be awarded cyber badges for their excellent work in tackling cybercrime. The state police headquarters will confer this honour for outstanding work in the field of cyberpolicing in the year 2023. Orders have been issued in this regard by the state Director General of Police, Dr. Atul Verma. One head constable and nine constables of the state will be awarded this award. This includes one woman constable as well.
The police personnel who have been selected for the cyber badge include Head Constable Azad Singh of Kangra district, Constable Hemant Kumar of Police District Baddi, Constable Amarindra Singh of Sirmaur district, Chandra Prakash of Kinnaur district, Shubham Chauhan of Lahaul-Spiti district, Pradeep Singh of Chamba, Jagdish Kumar of Solan, Vishal Patial of Cyber Crime Dharamshala, Aarti Devi of Cyber Crime Mandi and Ritesh Kumar of First Battalion Junga.
