IGMC 132 sanitation workers, ward attendants, and data entry operators are preparing for a protest due to the non-payment of their salaries for the months of October and November. Seeing the situation, the employees have decided to go on strike from Monday.
At IGMC, there are 80 ward attendants, 40 cleaners, and 12 E.C.G. and other data operators who have not received their salaries for two months. They are paid salaries through two companies. When these outsourced workers inquire about their pay, both businesses respond that the management has not yet made the payment available.
These workers now find it challenging to cover their household bills due to the current circumstances. These workers claim that despite Diwali, they were not paid, which caused them to struggle greatly. The staff stated that since they are carrying out their duties honestly, the hospital administration ought to pay them on time as well. However, because of their callousness, we are protesting.
