Hamirpur. The second phase of counselling for admission to B.Tech (Direct Entry) started on Wednesday at Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur. On the first day of the second phase of counselling, counselling of candidates of main category along with sub-categories of OBC and SC was done on the basis of Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test, in which 132 candidates were allotted B.Tech seats. The candidates who were allotted seats will have to report to the concerned educational institution by August 20. Candidates applying under ST main category, sub-category, sub-categories of other general category including EWS have been called for counselling on August 14, and candidates applying under General Category, All India Quota and Beti Hai Anmol have been called for counselling on August 18.
