According to the local people, we have confirmed that there could be 21 bodies out of which we have recovered 14 bodies in the last two days. SDM Shimla said that the search operation is going on. NDRF, SDRF, Army, local police and home guards are engaged in the operation. If we get any positive news that some people are alive, we will save them properly.
Seven people of the same family are also missing in Summerhill. The relatives are worried as their loved ones are yet to be traced. These are the people who were in the Shiv temple. But apart from this, it is not known how many people coming out of the way were hit by the landslide. The local councilor has given this information. According to the local administration, the work of worship was going on in the temple when the landslide occurred. Most of the people were swept away with the debris. In view of this, a search operation is being conducted by sending a team of NDRF, SDRF and local administration down to the drain.
At the same time, the Shimla Police has appealed that if any person is missing from Shimla and Summerhill surrounding areas after the Shivbari temple accident, then share his name, address, mobile number and complete information.
