Shimla
A case of a missing 15-year-old minor girl has come to light from the Sanjauli police station area of the state capital Shimla. After the girl went missing, her family found a suicide note at home, triggering panic among them. The situation has been further complicated as the girl left her mobile phone at home, making it difficult to establish contact with her.
The police have registered a case of kidnapping and initiated a search operation. The missing girl is originally a resident of Rampur in Shimla district and was living with her family in Sanjauli.
According to the complaint lodged by the girl’s elder sister, the 15-year-old left their Sanjauli residence on January 4 at around 3:00 PM without any clear reason and did not return thereafter. The complaint further states that she left her mobile phone at home and took approximately ₹1,000 in cash with her.
Police are actively searching for the minor and investigating all possible angles in the case.
