The Moot Court Society of Shoolini University, Faculty of Legal Sciences, recently organized its first-ever Intra Moot Court Competition, which spanned three eventful days. The competition was designed for BA LLB and LLB programmes. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from ten teams.
The central theme of the moot proposition revolved around a hypothetical legal case involving two prominent parties, namely the Sangrit Sankalp Foundation and the State of Indrapura. The case addressed contentious issues surrounding the Right to Education for Linguistic Minorities, prompting students to explore complex legal arguments and solutions. The Intra Moot Court Competition served as a platform for students to hone their advocacy skills, providing them with a refined approach to the world of mooting.
Dr. Monika Thakur, Assistant Professor at Shoolini University, commended the proactive and enthusiastic involvement of the students. She praised students’ efforts as they embarked on their legal journey, taking significant steps toward advocacy. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Kusum Verma, the Faculty Coordinator of the Moot Court Society, who extended her best wishes to all participants for their promising journey in the legal field.
The competition’s winners were announced, with the team IMCC-105, consisting of Anamika Sharma, Tanu Surana, and Shivanshu Lawaniya, secured the top spot. The runner-up team was IMCC-104, comprised of Saloni Thakur, Mamta Tiwari, and Upasana Singh. Additionally, the Best Memorial award went to IMCC-103, with Nitin Joy, Ansh Sharma, and Rajdeep Maan receiving accolades. Rajdeep Maan was recognized as the Best Researcher, while Anamika Sharma was named the Best Speaker.

Nitin Thakur, Dr. Kanu Sharma, Adv. Dixit Sahotra, and Pankaj. These legal experts offered their insights and expertise, enriching the competition with their experience.
