An incident that disgracefully exposes humanity has surfaced in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. A video of the horrific act of brutally raping an 18-year-old girl became viral on social media. In this case, the police acted quickly and arrested two people.
According to the information, the incident is of July 6. The girl was returning home from college as usual. On the way, when she reached a deserted place, she met 2 youths Deepak (21) and Chaman (27). These youths found the girl alone and first threatened her and then Deepak forcefully raped her, while Chaman made a video of the entire incident. After this inhuman act, the girl reached her home in a state of fear and shock, but due to shame and fear, she did not tell anyone anything.
A few days later, Chaman shared this video on another person’s mobile phone, due to which this video went viral. When this video reached the family of the victim, they came to know about this inhuman act. After this, the victim’s mother lodged a written complaint in this regard at the police station.
After receiving the complaint, the police took immediate action and arrested both the accused. The victim’s statement was recorded before the Judicial Magistrate under Section 183 of BNS. Along with this, a medical examination of the victim was also done. DSP Yog Raj Chandel said that on the basis of the complaint of the victim’s mother, the police have taken both the accused into custody and registered a case against them.
