In the ongoing operation of Shimla Police against Chitta smugglers, the police have succeeded in arresting 2 people of Nepali origin with Chitta.
The backward and forward links of these accused are being investigated. A team of Dhali Police Station had gone on patrol in Shanan and Malyana etc. areas.
During this time, near SBI Shanan, they arrested Bablu Kharka (21) son of Dal Bahadur Kharka resident of village Baukhila, post office Pathilana, tehsil Srinagar district Salyan (Nepal), presently residing in village Gusan post office Beulia and Arjun Kumar (28) son of Anil Kumar resident of village Bagbazar post office and tehsil Khawag Nepal presently residing in Shakti Niwas Shakrala with 5.14 grams of Chitta.
The police have registered a case under Section 21, 29 of the NDPS Act and arrested both the accused.
