A case of the disappearance of two children from a monastery in Sanjauli, Shimla, has come to light. Jonang, the manager of Sanjauli Monastery, has lodged a complaint with the police about the children’s disappearance. The police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint of the monastery manager and have started searching for the missing children. Among the children missing from the monastery, one child is said to be from Itanagar, Papum Pare, Arunachal Pradesh, and the other is from West Bengal.
According to the information, Pema Phuntsok, manager of Jonang Monastery Sanjauli Shimla, has lodged a complaint with the police at Police Station Dhali that two children have gone missing from his monastery Sanjauli on April 10 between 12 noon and 2 pm. Among the missing children, a 13-year-old boy from Itanagar, Papum Pare, Arunachal is wearing monk’s robes. Apart from this, another 12-year-old boy from West Bengal, who wears monk’s robes, is missing. On the other hand, ASP Ratna Negi says that on the basis of the complaint of the monastery manager, the police have registered a case under section 137 (2) of BNS at Police Station Dhali and started further action.
