Hamirpur
A young man has died due to drug overdose in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh. The young man died due to drug overdose on the evening of Diwali. He was brought to Hamirpur Medical College in critical condition. Doctors made every effort to save him, but despite all efforts the young man died in the emergency.
SP Hamirpur Bhagat Singh Thakur said that a youth has died due to overdose of Chitta. The name of the deceased youth was Rahul and he was only 24 years old. Rahul was a resident of Hamirpur district and used to run a shop near Hamirpur Medical College. Police have registered a case in this regard. The matter is being investigated by the police.
