A team led by SDPO Theog & SHO Theog arrested 8 more Drug peddlers of Shahi Mahatma Gang today details are as under..
This is following up on the investigation of Case Fir 50-24 NDPS act PS Kotkhai wherein 468gm heroin (Shahi Mahatma Gang) was recovered from one accused hailing from J&K who was drug conduit. On the basis of backward linkages investigation, including financial investigation and technical inputs, the following accused have been arrested today in Shahi Mahatma Case:-
1. Altamas Makrani S/O Sh. Mohammad Jaleel R/O village Kiratpur PO Hasanpur tehsil Najibabad district Bijnor Uttar Pradesh age 21 years, A/P Sham Lal Building Chargaon Bypass Road Rohru tehsil Rohru district Shimla Himachal Pradesh,
2 Navdeep Negi S/O late Shri Sukhwinder Singh Negi R/O village and PO and tehsil Rohru district Shimla Himachal Pradesh and age 39 years,
3 Sandeep Sharma S/O Shri Virendra Sharma R/O Seri ward no. 04 PO and tehsil Rohru district Shimla Himachal Pradesh and age 29 years,
4 Ranush Puharta S/O Shri Shravan Kumar R/O village Bashla PO Aadhal tehsil Rohru district Shimla Himachal Pradesh age 27 years,
5 Khushi Ram Thakur S/O Shri Chet Ram R/O village Bansha PO Jagothi tehsil Rohru district Shimla Himachal Pradesh and age 28 years,
6 Someshwar S/O Shri Negi Ram Sharma R/O village Jada PO Seema tehsil Rohru district Shimla Himachal Pradesh and age 32 years,
7 Hanish Ranta S/O late Shri Jishan Lal R/O village Bijori PO Seema tehsil Kotkhai district Shimla Himachal Pradesh and age 25 years,
8 Puruskrit Verma S/O Shri Gyan Singh Verma R/O village Makkinala PO and tehsil Rohru district Shimla Himachal Pradesh and age 33 years
Previously, Sahil Mehta S/O Lt. Sh. Kehar Singh R/O Village Brall PO Jharag Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP age 31 years was also arrested in the above case on 24/10/2024
The Kingpin Shahi Mahatma had been arrested in the above case and the interstate drug racket has been busted which was active in Rohru-Chirgaon area for the past 3-4 years
