Teams from five states including host Himachal will participate

The 28th National Senior Category Women’s Football Championship is being organized by the All India Football Federation in Hamirpur, the home district of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. This information was given by Sunil Sharma Bittu, President of Himachal Pradesh Football Association and Political Advisor to the Chief Minister. He said that it is a matter of pride for the state that the 28th national level women’s football competition is being organized. This competition, which is going to be organized in Hamirpur, the home district of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, will be made memorable. Efforts will be made to provide better hosting to women football players coming from outside states. Sunil Sharma Bittu said that this time the 28th National Senior Women’s Football Competition is being organized by the All India Football Federation at the Sai Sports Ground in Anu, Hamirpur. The responsibility of organizing this national competition has been entrusted to Himachal Pradesh Football Association. Senior women football teams from five states including host Himachal Pradesh are participating in it. This national competition will be held under the joint auspices of Himachal Pradesh Football Association and District Football Association Hamirpur. President of Himachal Pradesh Football Association and Political Advisor to the Chief Minister, Sunil Sharma Bittu said that this time AIFF has entrusted the responsibility of organizing National Women’s Football Group-F matches to Himachal Pradesh. The association has completed all the formalities regarding organizing this competition. The competition will be held from 21st to 29th November at SAI Sports Ground located at Anu. Apart from host Himachal, women football teams from the states of Railways, Maharashtra, Andaman-Nicobar and Bihar will participate in it. For the successful organization of the competition, the association has formed various committees and sub-committees. SAI sports ground located at Anu is being spruced up. Mohammad Salim Pathan will be the match commissioner of this competition, while Ajit Dutta will be the match adjudicator.
This will be the schedule of matches
All the matches of the National Senior Women’s Football Competition will be played at Sai Sports Ground and NIT Sports Ground located at Anu in Hamirpur. Host Himachal Pradesh’s first match in the competition will be played with Bihar on November 21. Whereas on the same day there will be a second match between Maharashtra and Andaman and Nicobar. After this, on November 23, the host Himachal Pradesh team will face Andaman-Nicobar, while the second match will be between Bihar and Railways. Himachal Pradesh team will face Railways on November 25 while Maharashtra will face Bihar. Maharashtra team will play with Himachal Pradesh on November 27, while Andaman-Nicobar’s match will be played with Railways. On November 29, the last day of the competition, the first match will be played between Bihar and Andaman-Nicobar, while the second match will be played between Railways and Maharashtra.
