• Mahajan thanked Union Minister Nitin Gadkari
Shimla, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan thanked Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and said that a few days ago when he met the Union Minister in his Delhi office, he had placed some demands before him. The Union Minister had assured me that action would be taken on these demands soon, and today I thank him that he has approved all those demands.
Today I received a letter from the Union Minister in which he has written that this is in reference to your (Harsh Mahajan) DO letter No. MP/RS/SML/246/DEL/25-26, dated 24.02.2025, regarding approval of various works on NH 154A in Himachal Pradesh.
I am happy to inform you that I (Nitin Gadkari) have approved 3 bridges on NH-154A, namely (i) (i) Luna Bridge at Km 154/450, (ii) Bhatti Nala at Km 106/530 and (iii) Keru Bridge at Km 42/410 during FY 2024-25 at a cost of Rs 104.32 crore.
Harsh Mahajan said that all these bridges come under Chamba district, Chamba is a remote area. There is a great need for development here and we are happy that the central government and the cabinet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi thought about this area.
