Shimla, February 25:
Shimla Police received information this morning that around 15–20 unidentified individuals, dressed in plain clothes, arrived in vehicles at a private resort located in Mandli, Chirgaon, and allegedly forcibly took away three guests who were staying there.
According to the complaint, the individuals also took along a Thar vehicle belonging to the guests. In addition, it has been alleged that the DVR of the CCTV cameras installed at Chanshal Resort was removed and taken away without providing any seizure memo or official receipt.
Following the information, Shimla Police acted promptly and registered a case at Police Station Chirgaon. Officials stated that legal proceedings have been initiated and evidence from the spot is being collected.
The police further said that, considering the seriousness of the matter, the investigation has been intensified to ascertain the identities of the persons involved and verify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
