Police arrested 3 youths with heroin after checking a vehicle based on information. SP Gaurav Singh informed that acting on the information, the police team blocked the road near Sanwara toll plaza and, during the blockade, stopped a vehicle coming from Chandigarh to Solan for checking. On questioning the two youths sitting in the vehicle, they identified themselves as Vartik Chauhan (23) residents of Shimla and Rahul Diwan (28) residents of Chaupal district Shimla.
During checking, about 16 grams of heroin was recovered from them. During the investigation of the case, the vehicle involved in the case was seized. The arrested accused were taken into police custody, and the investigation was further carried forward. The third accused involved in the case, Kshitij (23) resident of Chaupal, age 23 years, has been arrested by Dharmpur police.
