The Excise Department has once again invited open bids for 63 liquor contracts of the district. These include English and Desi liquor contracts of L-2, L-14, L-14A. Although these liquor contracts are currently being operated by HPGIC, Forest Corporation, and HPMC, the department is trying to get these liquor contracts to the vendors. For this, an auction will be held for 63 liquor contracts of the district on 21st July at Bachat Bhawan Shimla. Let us tell you that this year the department has repeatedly invited bids for liquor contracts.
In case the liquor contractors do not show interest in taking these contracts, they are being operated through various means, in which liquor contracts are being operated by the Municipal Corporation, HPGIC, Forest Corporation, and HPMC. The department says that these liquor contracts are to be given to the vendors, and for this auction, it is being repeatedly invited. District Commissioner of the Excise Department, Pradeep Sharma, said that the auction process for 63 liquor shops of the district would be conducted on July 21 at 10:30 am.
