Shimla, February 28: The Himachal Pradesh government has ordered the transfer and fresh postings of eight Himachal Pradesh Police Service (HPPS) officers with immediate effect in the public interest.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department (Section-D) on February 28, 2026,the reshuffle includes the following changes:transfer orders of HPPS officers dated 28.02.2026.

Dinesh Kumar (HPPS 2006) has been posted as Superintendent of Police (Welfare), Police Headquarters, Shimla.
Pankaj Sharma (HPPS 2007) will serve as Superintendent of Police, Prisons & Correctional Services, Shimla.
Navdeep Singh (HPPS 2010) has been appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police, Dehra, Police District Dehra.
Parmod Chauhan (HPPS 2011) has been posted as Additional Superintendent of Police, State Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau (HQ), Shimla.
Amar Singh (HPPS 2012) will take over as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Leave Reserve), Police Headquarters, Shimla.
Kamal Kishore-I (HPPS 2013) has been posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police, 1st HPAP Battalion, Junga, District Shimla.
Kamal Kishore-II (HPPS 2016) has been appointed as Deputy Superintendent of Police, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Shimla.
Ms Geetanjali Thakur (HPPS 2018) has been posted as Staff Officer in the office of Inspector General of Police (Southern Range), Shimla.
The notification was issued by Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, IAS, and signed by Special Secretary (Home) Manoj Kumar Chauhan, IAS.
