Eighth International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP–2025) Concludes Successfully
The Eighth International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP–2025), hosted by the Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, concluded successfully, marking yet another milestone in advancing global research on image processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent information systems. The three-day international event reaffirmed that the convergence of science, engineering, and emerging technologies is essential for addressing modern societal challenges and driving sustainable innovation. This year’s edition brought together leading researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from India and abroad to discuss cutting-edge developments and explore collaborative opportunities.
The conference was formally inaugurated on November 27, 2025, under the esteemed presidency of Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. R. K. Sharma. The University had the privilege of hosting Prof. L. D. Behera, Director, IIT Mandi, as the Chief Guest, who delivered an inspiring inaugural address highlighting the transformative potential of AI-driven imaging technologies and encouraging the research community to push beyond conventional boundaries.
The event was graced by all Deans, Heads of Departments, senior faculty members, and delegates. The conference was steered by the core organizing committee led by Prof. Vivek Sehgal (Head, CSE & IT, JUIT), Dr. Amit Jakhar (Conference General Chair), and Dr. Arvind Kumar (Conference General Co-chair), with dedicated support from faculty and staff across the University.
