8th National Ayurveda Day organized

8th National Ayurvedic Day was organized today at District Ayurvedic Hospital, Solan. This information was given by District AYUSH Officer Solan Dr. Praveen Sharma here today.
On the occasion of Lord Dhanvantari Jayanti, worship and yagya were organized at Ayurvedic Hospital Solan.
Dr. Praveen Sharma said that Lord Dhanvantari is considered the father of Ayurveda. Ayurveda can play an important role in improving a person’s life. For this purpose, Dhanvantari Jayanti is celebrated as Ayurveda Day.
He said that on the occasion of Ayurveda Day, various types of programs were being organized in the district for the last three weeks. In these programs, awareness was created about the positive effects of Ayurveda in a person’s life. He said around 16,500 people in the district were benefited through the programmes.
Ayurvedic medical officers, officers and employees of District Ayurvedic Hospital were present on this occasion.
