Students showcase talent through poetry, songs, idioms and word-based activities
Manjhyat: Lakshya Convent School, Manjhyat, celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm and energy, with students participating actively in a range of engaging and informative activities.The celebrations featured several activities, including poetry recitation, idiom-based dialogue, Hindi song singing and a Hindi word antakshari. Students showcased their creativity and talent while expressing their love and respect for the Hindi language.
Through these activities, students were encouraged to understand the richness, simplicity and significance of Hindi and its role in preserving cultural values and traditions. Chairman of Lakshya Institute, Dr PL Gupta, was present as the chief guest. School principal Dr Kusum Gupta, along with the teaching staff, also attended the programme.
Addressing the students, Dr Kusum Gupta highlighted the importance of Hindi, saying that the language was not merely a means of communication but was closely connected with the country’s culture, traditions and emotions. She encouraged students to use Hindi more frequently and maintain a sense of respect for their mother tongue.
The programme remained vibrant and engaging throughout. The collective efforts of students and teachers made the Hindi Diwas celebrations a successful and memorable occasion.
