A sad event occurred in the Himachal Pradesh district of Una, near the Marwari Bazaar in the Gagret police station area. A three-year-old daughter passed away in agony on Wednesday night in a fire that started when a cooking gas cylinder’s pipe burst. Ragini, the girl’s name, was the daughter of Kumesh Singh Kushwaha, a migrant worker.
The incident took place in the quarters of Doctor Sher Singh, where the family lived on rent. This family originally hails from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. The girl’s father Kumesh Singh Kushwaha, who was living here with his wife, used to feed the family by setting up a golgappa cart in the market.
According to information received from the police, suddenly a loud explosion occurred at night due to bursting of the pipe of the cooking gas cylinder and after that a fire broke out. During this, the girl Ragini was badly burnt. Although the family members tried hard to save her, the fire was so fierce that they failed, and the girl died on the spot.
As soon as the police got information about this incident, outpost in-charge SI Ravipal immediately reached the spot with his team. The police took the body of the girl into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Along with this, the police have also started investigating the cause of the accident, so that it can be ascertained how the cylinder pipe burst and how the fire started.
