After the dispute over the mosque in Shimla, now the matter of putting up a board with Sanatan vegetables in Sanjauli has gained momentum. Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti has now announced to put up boards in Lower Bazar Sabzi Mandi and other markets after Sanjauli Bazar. “Nobody has the right to divide the society. Action will be taken soon. The video is also going viral on social media.
It is to be noted that the locals under the banner of Devbhumi Sangharsh Committee had staged a major agitation demanding the demolition of the alleged illegal construction in Sanjauli Masjid. There were many protests in the regard. In this case, the orders to demolish the illegal part were issued after the Muslim community sought permission to demolish the illegal construction in the Municipal Commissioner Court. After this, it seemed that now the dispute arising out of illegal construction in the city would calm down, but with the launch of the Sanatan Sabzi Wala campaign of Devbhumi Sangharsh Committee, the concerns of the police and the administration have increased once again. Vijay Sharma, co-convener of the committee, said that after Sanjauli Bazar, this campaign will be carried out in the entire city and the state.
On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap clarified that he will not be able to say anything about this, only the SP Shimla will be able to tell about this. Superintendent of Police, Shimla, Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi said that no one has the right to divide the society in such a way. The district administration, police and municipal corporation will soon take action in this regard.
