All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bilaspur will be closed on 14 April on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti. Registrar and Assistant Public Relations Officer Dr. Rakesh Kumar Singh said that all Outpatient Department (OPD) services will be closed on this day, but emergency services will continue as before. This includes emergency, trauma, emergency surgery, and round-the-clock laboratory services. Dr. Rakesh has appealed to the patients and their relatives to ensure their medical needs, travel plans, and medicines are in advance so that any kind of inconvenience can be avoided. He assured that the AIIMS administration will ensure that even during holidays, quick and quality medical facilities are available to the patients in case of emergency.
AIIMS Bilaspur closes on April 14.
