Shimla. Amrit Kalash Yatra is being organized across the country under the program of paying tribute to the soil and saluting the heroes. In this context, this journey has now reached its final stage. This program took place in Kadharghat, Karyali, Dumehar and Gadheri of rural division on Thursday. During this time people brought a handful of soil and put it in the urn.
Rural Mandal President Yashpal Thakur said that ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ is being organized across the country. This ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ will reach the country’s capital Delhi carrying soil in 7,500 urns from every corner of the country. By mixing the soil and plants in these 7,500 urns, ‘Amrit Vatika’ will be created near the National War Memorial.
He said that the objective of Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign is to honor those brave freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country.
During this, booth empowerment campaign coordinator and former MLA Roop Das Kashyap, Bhup Ram Verma, former candidate Ravi Mehta, district extension Sanjeev Kumar, village center president Prem Lal, village center in-charge and divisional secretary Khemraj Verma, village center co-in-charge and Yuva Morcha.
