Himachal Pradesh ‘s first e – sports tournament ended with enthusiasm and victory at Gaiety Theatre , Shimla . 64 participants came together for an exciting game of Tekken 7 as players battled for this historic moment . The chief guest of the occasion was Shri Kehar Singh Khachi , Vice Chairman , Himachal Pradesh State Forest Development Corporation , and the special guest was famous gamer Smarty Pie .
The tournament , started at 10 am and ended at 9 pm . Anshul Thakur won out of 64 players and won a cash prize of Rs 10,000 . Kaka and Harish got second and third position .
Tournament winner Anshul Thakur said , “ It is an honor to be a part of Himachal ‘s first e – sports tournament . The competition was tough , and I am very excited at the thought of winning . Congratulations to the organizers for this wonderful moment . ”
The Chief Guest , Shri Khachi , appreciated the sincerity of the organizers , appreciated their efforts and motivated them to be in the limelight to educate people about the latest innovations especially in rural areas .
