Students at the CT Group of Institutions experienced a climate of empowerment and excitement during a talk organized to upskill their skill sets as per global needs. CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus organized a talk by Anurag Thakur, Cabinet Minister of Information, Broadcasting, Youth Affairs, and Sports to contribute to their mission to foster a culture of hope, courage, and resilience at all levels of society. Total Number of students in this event were 3,000.
The event began with lamps being lit in accordance with the pious tradition. After that, Additional Director of Admission Cell, Dr. Vaneet Thakur welcomed Anurag Thakur as the chief guest at the event. He talked about various achievements and contributions made by the honorary guest. He stated that Shri. Anurag is a visionary, a youth icon from whom we can learn about social changes and contributions.
After the graceful welcome of Shri. Anurag and other dignitaries, the Musical Society of CT Group presented a special performance. Followed by the melodious performance, Shri. Anurag addressed the audience. In his address he mentioned his last visit to CT Group, he applauded the spirit and vigor and the audience. He took up the chance to upskill students, appreciate Punjab’s legacy, and discussed the transition in the education system and technology. He suggested various ways to lead and win life through discipline, dedication, and ambition.
The campus Director, Dr. Gurpreet Sidhu, Dean of Research and Innovation, Dr. Dhami, Principals, Heads of Departments, and faculty members were present. Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman of CT Group of Institutions, in his address, mentioned that CT Group understands its societal obligation. It is ready to contribute passionately to upskilling and enhancement of student success rate. He thanked the honorary guest and expressed his highest appreciation for his commitment to the youth’s welfare.
