In APG Shimla University, an online workshop on cyber investigation and digital forensic will be organized from April third to fifth April at 11: 00 A.M. to 2:00 A.M. to protect against cyber crimes in which the well known cyber crime investigation and digital forensics veterans Shrikant Ardhapurkar, the chief information security officer, prof. Dr. Arun Kumar Choudhary dean engineering department of APG Shimla varsity, and Dr. Ramesh Kumar, the chairperson of computer science engineering (CASE) department of APG Shimla varsity will be key experts of cyber crime investigation and digital forensics. Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan, the Vice-chancellor (Acting) of APG Shimla University and prof. Dr. Anil pal, the registrar (Acting) of APG Shimla University added that cyber criminals are continuously increasing all over the world on account of information technology illiteracy among masses so cyber criminals are making masses their victims in a new way and in a blink of an eye, masses lose their hard earned money and personal data. “The growing demand for smart mobile phones, internet and online illiteracy has opened up new avenues for online or digital fraud, humbuggery, racketeering, embezzle money from bank account, so masses, students must aware of cyber security and learn the tips of cyber crime investigation and digital forensics to avoid being a victim of fraud”, Vice-chancellor prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan said. He added more that prevent online fraud and crimes; an online workshop will be conducted by department of computer science engineering of APG Shimla University in which key experts will give tips to the students, teachers and participants to perk up them for online literacy and learning of digital forensics to avoid cyber crimes. The key experts will give tips to the students of APG varsity, teachers, professors, and participants in which the details of what to do and what not to do avoid cyber fraud will be discussed in detail.
