APG Shimla University laid the foundation stone of APG Shimla University Rotoract Cub here on Friday speicialy for invoking the students for leadership, better education and social service activities. Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan, the vice-chancellor of APG Shimla University, laid the foundation stone of APG Shimla University Rotoract Club through online mode. This foundation occasion organized by Padam Sood, the president of Shimla Rotary Club under the coordination of Dr. Kamal Kashyap, the chairperson of mechanical engineering department of APG Shimla varsity. During this occasion, Atul Tangari paricipated as a key speaker. Vice-chancellor prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan addressed the students and teachers, professors of APG varsity; he said that such organisations like rotoract club or rotary clubs are the rudimentary support and the platforms through which youths, students and professionals can share their hands in social services, nation service and support to the helpless students and people who are in uphill time of calamity and havoc of pandemic time as well.
Vice-chancellor prof. Ramesh Chauhan added that one can get inner peace after helping people, society , contributing for the development of the nation and mankind as well. “Through such platforms, students, youths get new experiences along with their study and professions and learn the passion for helping society and nation as well, but it needed muster strength among our youths to do a paramount service for the sake of mankind, said vice-chancellor prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan while addressing the students. Prof. Chauhan said that APG varsity always supports such causes of the society and nation but now organized it’s Rotaract club to contributing for the same causes through proper motivation. Atul Tangari addressed the APG varsity students and teachers for come forward for the bolster of poor students, helpless people and also perk up them to be good citizens, prowess professionals for nation-building, leadership quality and true social activists.Padam Sood, the president of Shimla Rotary club invoked the APG varsity students to come forward for the welfare of the society if they are captivated to do something great for human community and nation. From the side of APG varsity students, Nidhi, the law student, elected as president of APG Shimla University Rotaract Club, Rupender Kaur, the student of Hotel Management & Hospitality, elected vice-president, while from the side of APG varsity faculty members, Dr. Kamal Kashyap, the chairperson of Machanical Engineering department, elected as a coordinator of APG Shimla University Rotaract Club. During the occasion, Dr. Anil Kumar Pal, the registrar of APG Shimla varsity, Dr. Kuldeep Kumar, the dean academics, Prof. Lokesh Chandel, Dr. Neel Singh, Dr. Sunil Thakur, Dr. Prem Singh, Dr. Bhartesh, Prof. Arun Choudhary, Afzal Khan, the controller of examinations, chairpersons, teachers and executive officers were present.
