Dharamshala 04 August: Taking an important step towards digital transformation, the APT 2.0 system was formally launched in Dharamshala Postal Division today. This will help in making the departmental work of the Postal Division more automated, transparent, efficient and customer friendly.
Superintendent Post Office Dharamshala Ravinder Kumar while giving information said that APT 2.0 is an advanced information technology system which has been developed by the department itself to make the internal processes of the postal department more effective. Through this, coordination and transparency can be ensured in accounting, budget, internal audit and administrative processes.
On this occasion, Ratan Chand Sharma, Assistant Director Post, Ravinder Kumar Superintendent Post Office Dharamshala Division and other officers and employees were present from Divisional Office Shimla. During the program, the officers highlighted the features of APT IT 2.0 and said that this system will bring significant improvement in efficiency and will make work execution more convenient for the employees.
The Department of Posts has implemented APT 2.0 in a phased manner across the country and Dharamshala Postal Division is contributing to this transformational journey by being a part of it.
On this occasion, all the employees have been provided necessary training for the use of the system so that they can operate the new system and provide full benefit to the general public.
