Chamba, May 17:
A meeting of the newly elected Board of Directors of the Chamba District Cooperative Marketing and Consumers Federation Ltd. was held at the federation’s office in Mai Bagh on Saturday, where several organisational matters were discussed.
During the meeting, Arjun Singh was unanimously elected as the President of the federation, while Wajiru Ram was appointed as the Vice President.
The meeting was chaired by District Audit Officer, Cooperative Societies, Rajesh Kumar. Members of the Board of Directors present on the occasion included Munshi Ram from Bharmour-Holi Zone, Pyaar Chand from Saluni Zone, Ravi Singh from Bhatiyat Zone, Ashok Kumar from Teesa Zone and Surendra Kumar from Pukhari Zone.
The newly elected President and Vice President thanked all members for reposing faith in them and assured that they would work with dedication, transparency and commitment for the welfare and progress of the federation.
The meeting concluded with a formal vote of thanks.
