Mahendra Thakur is elected as a state vice president of the Anti-Corruption Foundation of India. He is running an awareness campaign against drug abuse and corruption.
Mahendra Thakur is a resident of village Syari of Gram Panchayat Dhundan of subdivision Arki of Solan district. He has been appointed for his dedication to eliminating the corruption and drug activities in the region. For the past four years, Mahendra Thakur has also been the District President of District Solan, and he has put efforts into bringing the organization’s goals to the local level.
For the past few years, Mahendra Thakur has also been spearheading a public awareness campaign in his community to combat drug usage and chitta smuggling. He has encouraged young people to abstain from drugs and has contributed significantly to society by disseminating crucial information in coordination with the government.
After his appointment, he has appealed to the people of the area that if anyone gets any information related to drug smuggling or drug trade around them, then without hesitation, immediately inform him or the administration. He asserted that we cannot create a society free from corruption and drugs unless we work together.
Mahendra Thakur promised to keep up his job while upholding the honor of his position and placing the public interest, honesty, and openness first. Additionally, he stated, “Anti-Corruption has made it clear that any member discovered to be engaged in unlawful activities will have their membership immediately revoked.
