The two-day Asmita Women’s Wushu League – 2025 closing ceremony at Laureate Public School took place with great pomp. IAS Sandeep Kadam, Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Department, was present as the chief guest on this occasion. He honored the winning participants in various categories by presenting trophies and medals.
Laureate Public School performed brilliantly in the competition and won the title of overall champion. R.K.M.V. College was declared the first runner-up, while Rampur was declared the second runner-up. The team of Laureate School proved its superiority by winning a total of 22 gold, 24 silver, and 22 bronze medals.

Apart from the chief guest at the ceremony, Vice President of the Wushu Association of India (Himachal Pradesh), General Secretary P.N. Azad, Principal of Laureate Public School Dr. Meera Singh, Dr. Uday, and parents of the participants also attended the program.
The competition not only gave the participants an opportunity to showcase their sports skills but also encouraged self-confidence, discipline, and team spirit. The aim of the event was to encourage women sportspersons and give a new identity to traditional sports like Wushu.
