Atal ji dreamt of good governance, PM Modi took it to new heights: Karan Nanda
Shimla, BJP state media in-charge Karan Nanda was the chief guest at a program organized by the Kasumpti Assembly to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The program was presided over by BJP Kasumpti Mandal President Rahul Thakur.
Addressing the event, BJP State Media Incharge Karan Nanda said that whenever Himachal Pradesh’s development is discussed, the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana will be mentioned in golden letters. This scheme is the result of the visionary thinking of former Prime Minister, respected Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Today, rural areas have benefited the most from this scheme, and road connectivity to every village has been possible only due to Atal ji’s vision.
He said that no matter how much the Congress party claims, the truth is that Atal Bihari Vajpayee laid the foundation for Himachal’s roads. These roads are “Atal” and are Atal ji’s gift. We need to learn a lot from Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s personality. He was a leader who was respected and loved by people from all parties. His absence is deeply felt in politics today.
Karan Nanda said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s vision of good governance was shown to the country during his tenure, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has furthered and established new records of good governance. Today, from historic projects like the Atal Tunnel to the development of major institutions and infrastructure in Himachal Pradesh, this is a result of Atal ji’s vision.
He said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee laid a strong foundation for promoting industry in Himachal Pradesh. Industrial development, employment opportunities, and the vision of economically empowering the state were part of Atal ji’s dreams, which the state is still realizing today, despite the Congress party’s attempts to spread confusion regarding the industrial package and special status.
BJP co-office secretary Prem Thakur, co-media in-charge Rama Thakur, former district president Vijay Parmar, Harish Thakur, Rajinder Jinha and many other BJP officials and workers were present in the program.
