Shimla, August 29, 2025: Auckland House School for Girls, Shimla, celebrated its Senior Section Sports Day with great enthusiasm and participation. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Surinder Chauhan, Mayor of Shimla Municipal Corporation. The event was also graced by Deputy Mayor Mrs. Uma Kaushik and Councilor Mrs. Meena Chauhan, whose presence encouraged the students.
The day commenced with a spectacular March Past, followed by displays of Gymnastics, Karate, Yoga, Aerobics, and PT Drills. Students then participated in a range of athletic competitions including Soft Ball, High Jump, Shot Put, Relay Races, and Tug of War.

In the overall house results, Matthew House secured the First Position, followed by Lefroy House in Second, Durrant House in Third, and French House in Fourth.
The Chief Guest, in his address, lauded the students for their discipline, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm, and encouraged them to continue excelling in both academics and co-curricular activities. The day concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of the winners and houses.
