Auckland House School for Girls buzzed with joy and youthful enthusiasm as the students of Class XII warmly welcomed the incoming batch of Class XI (2025–26) with a grand Freshers’ Party. With a strength of 66 students, the celebration was an inclusive and spirited affair that embraced individuality, self-expression, and a strong sense of sisterhood.
Organized in the school auditorium, the event did not follow a specific theme, allowing creativity and spontaneity to shine. The Class XII students looked stunning in elegant western wear, while the new Class XI students added grace and colour in beautiful sarees. The combination created a vibrant visual palette that reflected the diversity and unity of the school community.
The afternoon was filled with fun and laughter as students participated in random games and interactive activities that encouraged bonding and broke the ice with ease. The highlight of the event was the title ceremony, judged by Mrs. Shalini, Mrs Parul (teachers from school) and Ms. Ritanjali Hastir, Editor of Himachal Tonite, who commended the students for their confidence, charm, and cheerful spirit. They applauded the school for nurturing such well-rounded young women and emphasized the importance of self-assurance and authenticity in today’s world.
Titles were awarded as follows:
Ms. Fresher: Saanvi Bharota
First Runner-Up: Aradhya Gangta
Second Runner-Up: Mehwish Chauhan
Principal Smaraki Samantaroy congratulated both the outgoing and incoming students for organizing and participating in such a graceful event and appreciated the initiative and teamwork displayed by the senior students, describing them as true role models.
