Shimla
An awareness program was organized at St. Thomas School Shimla on World Population Day, organized by Yuva Mandal Bhadrech through My Yuva Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India Shimla Office. The program was presided over by the principal of the school, Vidhupriya Chakravarty.
In this program, the participants presented their views on the topic of population explosion, its impact on the nation and challenges. Sakshi Verma, Palak, Jiya, Lakshya Verma, Kritika, Naisha Thakur, and Akasha expressed their views on various topics related to population.
Surendra Sharma, a teacher, provided detailed information on various topics through PPT. The participants present over there were also awarded mementoes by Principal Vidhupriya Chakravarty and Vice-Principal Sharon Nanda.
The principal of the school, Vidhupriya Chakravarty, guided the participants and also expressed her views on the effects of high population. He also thanked My Yuva Bharat Shimla and Yuva Mandal Bhadrech for organizing this awareness program.
