Baddi University (BUEST) celebrated freshers Day, by warmly welcoming the new students. The Chief guest, Dr. T.R. Bhardwaj, Chancellor’s Advisor, and the distinguished Professor Dr. Khushmeet Kumar, Registrar, joined us for this special occasion, along with devoted dean, department heads, and faculty who cheered on the bright talents of tomorrow.
The festivities began with a beautiful lamp-lighting ceremony, creating an inspiring atmosphere filled with positivity. BUEST talented students showcased their skills through vibrant performances, including Gidda, Nati, and Bhangra, bringing the spirit of celebration to life.
A key highlight of the day was a powerful skit addressing the important issue of ragging, emphasizing the need for a supportive and respectful campus environment. Together, we can foster a culture of unity and kindness. As the event unfolded, Ojas Rana, become Mr. Fresher, and Preetika became a Miss Fresher. A special recognition also goes to Aman, named Mr. Personality, and Akriti, our shining Miss Personality. In a significant move for our athletic community, BUEST signed a MoU with the Elite University Sports Alliance of India (EUSAI) to enhance sports opportunities for our students.
This fresher party was not just a celebration; it marked the beginning of new friendships and adventures.
