Forging ahead with the light of 35years :Prof Dr. Jitender Sharma vice -chancellor Baddi University of Emerging Science &Technology was conferred India’s Most Promising Vice Chancellor award. This award is being conferred to him for his outstanding contribution to the higher education industry.
While interacting with Crazy News India on Exclusive Interview, Dr Jitender Sharma says, “It was a pleasant suprise for me too when I got an email from EduStar’s India’s that I was nominated for this prestigious award”. Firstly, I inquired about this as I and my team didn’t apply for this. But after searching, I came to know EduStar’s award for those VC and Chancellor whose contribution is outstanding in the higher education industry, he says.
Around 260 Private University VC and Chancellors works have been seen and only 8% of the Vice-Chancellors of Indian private universities have been awarded and Iam one out of them, I feel proud to be associated with Baddi University, a university that focused on research, innovation and entrepreneurship,” he said.
The prestigious award ceremony was held Delhi, hosted by Daily Indian Media and Star brands. The event was organized to felicitate the Most Impactful and Most promising Awards specifically for vice-chancellors and chancellors who have contributed to higher education in India.
